Was out trying to chase moose last week, but temps were in the mid 20s C, so what like 75ish F? Not cold enough to trigger rut yet. First frost was yesterday morning, but most of the leaves (and tamarack needles) have dropped already.

From your experience, which of those are the most annoying drivers on the road? Assholes texting or constantly looking at their phone while driving or sitting at a traffic light.

It's going to be an interesting year for sure. I have the benefit of still having sleds to ride if my 2022 does not come in. If I didn't like some of you guys and guys I ride with I'd be more concerned. Sucks that all of this issue is beyond ours, the dealers and the manufacturers control. Getting mad at a dealer or calling them is not going to improve or help. Thumbs up on the dealers that are trying to get ahead of this calling their customers upfront. Their hands are also tied to when sleds will arrive.

Even with the "Keep right except to pass" here in MI we still have those dopey fucks doing the posted speed on a 3 or even 4 lane highway. Most of them are on their phone

WELL.... My new dealer, Duluth Lawn & Sport impressed me tonight. I am guessing that he's getting the hell beat out of him tonight by angry customers. He called to let me know that my new Polaris XC 650 129 is not listed to ship until 1/15. He doesn't know me, but I was impressed that he called to tell me. He handled it EXTREMELY well... There's going to be a lot of unhappy Polaris and Ski-Doo customers.... But, I have to say that Duluth Lawn & Sport has earned my long term business. He's going to get back to me with options. It sounds like Ski-Doo is also really going to have trouble making some deliveries on time.

As I've said before, I am an early season rider. We frequently have early snow here, and I am willing to chase snow if need be to get in early season riding. With that said, January 15th ship date is is half way though my season, and I often have 1500-2000 miles on my sled by that date. I am unwilling to miss half of my season. My dealer so far has handled this very well and is going to present me with some options. Used, Ski-Doo, another Polaris are all options that I am willing to consider. I knew when I sold my old sled in March that I was taking a risk. I took the risk and now will be one of those folks scrambling for a sled. Imagine what this is going to do to used sled prices, now? You thought it was bad already?

Caught Newark Pond this morning with a nice reflection, lol I saw one yesterday walking down a dirt road with a camera in his hand and a mask on his face. He was in the middle of fucking nowhere, by himself, about 100 yards from his car.

My perspective is I would rather be vaccinated and have what some call marginal antibodies so that when and if I get the virus it shouldn’t be a death sentence…but if I do get the virus after vaccination I should get those versions of the antibodies produced. In other words, doubly protected and alive. It’s kind of like being both seatbelted and having modern air bags. Each on their own deliver protection, but together provide exponentially better protection. Nothing’s perfect, but why die a stupid death or become more injured if it can be avoided?

Again, I have no idea how some people (not you obviously) can be so oblivious to the current supply chain issues to be throwing a conniption fit over these snow check issues. Welcome to 2021 and buckle up for 2022. It’s not going to get any better anytime soon. If companies admitted that you weren’t going to see their products for longer periods of time, last year, they wouldn’t have gotten ANY snow check orders. I’m going to bet that they will make it right but some people are going to be scrambling for sleds to ride this year.

We will have to get ours fixed at the appropriate time as well, whenever that is, but so far so good. Currently they just eat, sleep and wrestle, but are getting more and more adventurous everyday. In all the years my family and I have owned cats, I don't ever recall having kittens before? Always full grown rescues or hand me downs so this is a bit more challenging than usual but still a lot of fun.

I even offered for him to pick whatever sled he wanted and race whatever distance he wanted and the rules would be completely decided by him. I said I'd buy and build that exact sled and we'd race, wherever he wanted. He didn't want it
