Prices have basically come back to their 3-5 year norms. This isn't unexpected given the current level of economic activity post covid lockdown. The oil and gas industry is starting to pick up again which is good for the US economy. Obiden has made some bone head comments and decisions but $3 gas isn't completely his doing. It's basically the normal supply/demand driving up pump prices.

I found a used steering rack out of an STI Impreza that will be a direct swap. It has low kms on it which is nice. The only way I am getting a "new" or reman rack is if I order directly from Japan as it is a right hand drive vehicle. Prices and shipping on those things are outrageous. One of the benefits to putting this STI rack in is it is a tighter steering ratio. Another benefit is that I will have a rack in it and I can trying putting the seals in her old one. Based on the video evidence alone these guys were fucked from the start and their attitudes during the arrest and complete unwillingness to change course when floyd went unconscious means I have little sympathy for the fact they will all spend some long days and nights in prison. Chauvin will appeal but that process is far from simple and unwinnable unless there is some new evidence that was not presented in the original trial. Even if he get's another trial it's pretty hard to see how he ever stands a chance of being found not guilty.
