My friends dad gave him his old impala (69 maybe) with a blown motor when we were 15. Spend a whole year rebuilding that car, bodywork, interior. All my buds had muscle cars. I had a 70 GTO later on. Good times. The old firebirds and mopars were my faves.

The 60"s and early 70"s were good times. We had so many friends in our area with muscle cars that you could have your own cruise night. Small/big block cars of all types.

more cars these days more delays no shocker, IMO big dig made a better traffic pattern but it's still trying to fit too many cars into too few lanes but they were/are space constrained. It's no different than any other big cities traffic issues. IMO nothing will ever fix bostons traffic, city layout is fucked because it is based on revolutionary war era cart paths and buildings., Even having worked down there for a year in the financial district and travelling down there all my life it's a bitch to get around the east side of the city.

Our dad had a 64 Impalla SS and then a 66 Impalla SS. When he bought a 68 2dr Newport with a 383 we hopped it up. Cam, alum I take, Holley etc etc. It went pretty good for a big boat. My brother had a 55 Chevy with a 454 and at that time I had a 66 Nova with a stout sm block, 4.88"s, 4spd,glass fenders/hood etc etc

couldnt agree more. I grew up in it . We always had hot rods and street rods growing up. Being out in garage at young age, acquiring skills of working on old cars has in meeting some great people & friendships I would never have. This was in the early 70’s

Some of the big Motor Homes and campers are getting 30 year Morgages on them. The banks are up to the same shit, but with toys. It’s the stupid people that sign on the line, that are going to be screwed.

Be it cars, bikes, sleds, boats, houses, etc.., alot of people just look at the payment and not the price or the interest. Fucking dumb if you ask me. And I have never financed a toy in my life. Nothing worse than making payments on something you can't use for more than half the year.

Spending all day updating the resume and job hunting. What a pain in the ass! And NO I didn't get fired! I'm leaving my job at the end of September. Just applied for a position on a 500ton class OSV. One of the brothers whose family owns the company put a good word in for me and the hiring manager said because of that he put my resume in the right pile so hopefully things work out.
