This topic has a wider turn radius than a school bus.

So, what's Yamaha going to do next week?  Introduce a blue Catalyst?  They wouldn't introduce a new engine, would they?  Keyed tether?  New tunnel bag?  Something has to be new, doesn't it?

Pogosticks!

Jimmy let the Yamaha employee hold the sign to get that top secret information.

It's fitting that the sign reads SLOW

This info is all over the place, but I'll repeat it: Between 70% and 80% of the machines ac plans on building got allocated to dealers last week.  The remaining ones went onsale this morning, on the website.  I was told to let customers know that the catalyst trail sleds had sold out roughly 15 min after the website started taking orders.

This is pretty much what I was told this weekend.

You have 3 basic groups - dealer allotment, website orders, and race program.

I think I have finally been priced out of the market.

Here is some footage of what YAMAHA has been developing the past few years with their single greatest engineer inside japan....

I was hoping this was going to be an alphahawk video.  That guy is great

Its also faster on a track, with a highly superior steering and friction less belt drive; but sweet $65 gauge you paid $2200 for, chevy malibu market share and 8 year old Polaris chassis,  6 year old Doo chassis😁

what day does kawasaki take over the arctic cat assembly line this year? anyone know?

They’re penciled in somewhere between Scorpion and Yamahas 2037 model year machines. Ski doo makes up most of the production runs now though. A guy that runs the Scorpion line told me this when we were riding unicycles last week.

Well it is the fastest sled (TCAT/SRX)
And its not even close.

That's a Yamaha.  Cat can't manage to build a 4 stroke.  The cat powered one is not even close.  Plus Ferrari would laugh.  It can't turn for shit.

Okay, so I think we have settled on bng for Yamaha.  Maybe Cat should hire the 3 last Yamaha snow employees and give them visas to work in TRF.  That would ensure Cat gets better graphics next year.

And I found something else we can argue about:

Why Launch Control on production snowmobiles?  I can’t see any practical application for it.  Ski Doo is putting this on their fastest sled, not an actual race sled.  Other than leaving trenches all over groomed trails, it’s a novelty, imo.  I don’t get it, why did they spend time and money on this?
