The Audi and BMW leasee crowd has flocked over to Teslas. I am uninterested in owning a Tesla of any variety. There were 2 Urus's floating around Hood Cloud when we were there. A pearl white one and a lighter blue one. I thought they were neat at first, but now they are kind of meh. I'd rather have one of the Rambo Lambos that live a sad life in this state. Tesla Boy at work tried to lemon law his like 4 times before they pretty much banned him from the dealer/service center? He still talks with a couple of the younger engineers here. That kid has issues.

My parents don't let me us the plane anymore. I'm pissed.

Wish they'd just sell to Argo, take the L on the books, and put us all out of this misery.

For most mountain bikes, I need a large. Almost everything I've found that I've considered buying is either not a large, almost the same price as new, or sells right away. I can't just drop what I'm doing and drive 3 hours to the Cities to buy something. Maybe I need to be less picky? F it. If I'm spending this kind of money, I'm buying one I want and know I'll ride.

The problem is once you "Eat the Rich" for the top 5%, society keep going. Eventually, you are the top 5%. Then what? -
I liked the 29'er I had. I rolled through stuff way faster so I could hit shit and eat shit harder. It was a XC bike, so it steered like a road bike on the trails. Not good on the downhills at all. I'm leaning towards a Nukeproof Scout or Commencal of some kind if I go with a hardtail or a Polygon Siskiu T8 or T9 if I go full squish squish. Possibly a Commencal FS with the Ohlins too.

Anyone ride a enduro style bike all around in MN? Not finding a decent Polygon T8 in large right now, but found a Marin Alpine for a couple hundred more, but it is an enduro bike vs. trail bike. Also looking at various hardtails that meet the spec I'm after, used of course.

Both our Keurigs quit working. Picked up the cheapest coffee pots the small town Wally had, $9 each on sale, and $3 worth of filters. No Ragrets. -
New poll shows RFK Jr.'s campaign could sink Trump
racinfarmer replied to Crnr2Crnr's topic in Current Events
Like I said, when the Democrats trot out whichever turd sammich it is they are running, all the Bernie Bros and Yang Gang and the like fall right in line and vote for the D. It happened when the brought out the old dull battle ax Hilldog and when the propped up Biden and Kamala Quota. -

Bought one bottle and got one for free of that stuff in my vodka drinking days. The free one was the 1.75L. Think those were like $125 or so back then. Not a fan, personally. Made lemon, orange, and grapefruit juices taste really bitter to me. -

Listened to the whole podcast today. Certainly is interesting. That Jewish talkshow guy on the radio here had a lot today about this podcast this afternoon too. -
New poll shows RFK Jr.'s campaign could sink Trump
racinfarmer replied to Crnr2Crnr's topic in Current Events
Of course RFK will take more votes away from Trump that Biden. When the Democrats trot out their POS, they tell everyone "You'll vote for this POS and you'll like it," and they all fall in line... -
Sub-prime auto loans are seeing a similar delinquency rate. 6% or so. It is at it's highest rate since it started being tracked in the mid 90's. Normally under 2%. Lots of squeezes on the middle class and lower middle class, and the auto and CC stuff are the easiest ones to ignore. In case anyone is wondering, auto loan debt surpassed student loan debt in 2023...

US migrant crisis shifts from Texas to California border
racinfarmer replied to XCR1250's topic in Current Events
I had to travel to Mexico in early December and where 8 drops down by the border, there was a small camp of migrants you could see from the interstate, probably 2-300 living in tents with a few porta-johns. San Diego's time is coming if it hasn't already. -
Where is the next closest pavement track? The Dells? La Crosse? Elko? They'd have to rip up the pavement if they have a chance and making it work.
-
They only race one or twice a year. During the fair for sure. With all the other racing to be had within an hour or two of that track, there just aren't enough cars around. Being how developed it has become too, I don't see that track reopening full time.

Deer Creek and Mississippi Thunder are the two best run tracks in the midwest.
