  1. You know what would make a big bore Polaris twin reliable.....a Turbo.... Those things will be clogging up Polaris service departments like a roll of paper towels in a toilet.

  2. Jimmy is the dream customer for every manufacturer .... take a prior year model (or in his case, a decade old model), throw a new coating of grey primer on it, and stamp 2023 on it and he'll be there to buy & promote it as the absolute best thing on the market. It's pretty apparent, he doesn't wear a snowmobile helmet when he rides, he's more of a hockey helmet type of guy

  8. When is Arctic Cat's decal release for 2023? That is a nice program they are offering you though. We'll build your 2022 sled and store it until 2023. Was that part of the snow check program?

  10. 10? 3 would do the trick. Better idea is to let Europe handle it and keep our noses out of it.

  11. Completely useless organization. Not that "resolutions" ever mean anything but if one member of the security council can block a resolution what's the purpose of having it? The mere fact that China is on the SC is a joke enough. https://centerforunreform.org/2019/10/28/the-veto-and-the-un-security-council/ The veto, a power held by the five permanent members of the UN Security Council (P5), has been a point of contention among many UN Member States since the establishment of the UN Charter at the San Francisco Conference of 1945. This veto power gives the P5 (France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Russia, and China) the effective power to block any draft resolution presented to the Security Council.

  16. Have to agree with this. It can be frustrating but there seems to be more large groups on the trails than ever before. Could not believe how many were running in groups of 10 or more sleds. Always wonder why these groups just don't break up into smaller one's and then meet up at a destination or two or three. They are stopping all the time anyway. Our group is a max size of 7 sleds when everyone is up and even though everyone can ride it still is more challenging than when it's just a couple of us. Over the last 10 days it was not the slow moving groups that were the issue on the trails it was larger groups of ricky racer's where you pass the lead rider and everyone behind is trying to set some type of trail record for riding fast on the wrong side of the fucking trail.

  17. Of getting caught and allowing some faster riders to pass you? I mean if you see them behind you just move over on a straight and stop for 5 seconds and let the crew go by. Done. Just because you are riding at your limitations doesn’t mean THAT is everyone else’s limitations. Probably the same people who drive the speed limit in the left lane….

  19. Yeah, I'm sure that 20 year old 700cc Suzuki motor is still as reliable as the day it rolled off the showroom floor after sitting outside under a blue tarp in the backyard for the last 10.

  20. I agree with the last two posts, and I don't just fly by people. I give them a chance to see we are there, let my entire group get caught up and in sight, and most of the time allow for them to get to the next intersection or road crossing that I know is coming. It is when they KNOW you are back there, and still refuse to move over or stop for a few seconds to let other sleds go by. And then, instead of stopping, they keep moving at 10-15mph as if that is stopping to let you by. How do I know you aren't going to hit a bump or the side of the trail and get tossed back into the middle of the trail when you are trying to allow us to pass? As @dsupercat said, 10 minutes isn't going to wreck my day, but at the time, the 10 seconds it takes you to stop and let a crew go by isn't going to wreck your day either.

  21. I get what she is saying about possible Putin intentions after Ukraine but there is a lot of truth to what he said as well. Ukraine is/was corrupt as hell and the reason they haven't been let into NATO. I'm not opposed to helping them with weapons and what not but it has to come with a price and Europe should be leading the way here....not the US. No doubt the European's want us to confront the bear so they don't have to which is complete horseshit.

  22. Yes it can be annoying but just relax. If you have to slow down for 10 minutes in a day its not going to wreck your day. Most of the time it is a older couples or people with young children. They don't put on 1000's of miles a year and are just trying to enjoy the trails as the rest of us. Next time you come up on them just take a deep breath. At least in Wisconsin there is no limit on how slow or fast you can go during daylight hours.
