UPDATE- Well- The good news is that my dealer is working on an alternate sled for me. He has a couple of options, and one is showing as enroute. The question is whether it will arrive complete or not. The shipping on another unit has been moved up and should ship before the end of the month. Either one would be acceptable to me. Color & track length really don't matter to me as much as simply having a 650 in the Matryx chassis. That is what I really want. Again- Dealer, Dealer, Dealer. So critical when things go to hell. I have been nothing but impressed with my dealer and his communication.

My father and I bought new blowers in 2008? He bought a ariens pro 28, I bought a Honda 928. The Honda was $3400, the ariens $2800 Hands down the Honda is a better machine. I've got three times the yard and a broken shear pin was my only issue. The ariens has about $500 in parts already. They throw snow about the same distance but the engine in the ariens shakes and rattles while the Honda is smooth as silk. About 5 years ago my father and I went halvsies on this. New Holland 1920 (32hp) This is how you remove snow. Hands down one of the best things I've ever bought. Makes my life easier.

It was actually supposed to be the annual bet that Tom and I do ... I was able to get @krom to do it back in our HCS days, but he lost one year and hasn't done it since, so Tom took over We never really formalized the bet this year - did we @Tommcat? I was planning to bet on the Sidewinder (just to push Tom's buttons, because he HATES Yamaha) and he was taking the Cat. And we both said if the Doo was there with that launch control, we both would have taken that to win (lowest ET). So I don't think there's a winner or loser this year unless Tom wants to say Cat won because Yamaha didn't show up. If so, I'll own that and put up whatever avatar he wants me to use.

Honestly , if 80% of my season wasnt wrapped up in traveling snocross I would be losing my shit , Im thankful I have my 6000 running and ready for white gold. Am I the only one thinking about how detrimental this could be to the industry as a whole regardless of what brand you like?

Honesty, I would worry more about the physical turbo than anything. Tuning would be next. The engine has proven to be ok. The are running fuel through the bottom end with the 2nd set of injectors. (This is a HUGE plus, btw) The cylinder design is 100 times better than the 800-700-600 design. We have a 2013 Poo 800 with BD ST turbo kit. It has the secondary injectors and is 11 psi of boost at 10k ft, with a 13.1 head. Thats just over 200hp. It has held together for 4300 hard miles. Yes, pistons get replaced as a maintenance every 2k miles, but those pistons are in better shape than the NA pistons at 2k. Its been a back sled for a few years, but it runs so well he cant let it go. I really think the design is there, now we will see how well Polaris executed that design.
