There are going to be people who still mask for some time to come prophylactically. Whether or not you think it's stupid, don't fall into the trap of treating them like idiots. As long as they're not screaming at you to stay away or telling you to mask, there's no reason to be a dick to maskers. Some folks in Asian countries have been wearing masks off and on since original SARS at the beginning of this century. Nobody gives a mask wearer a second look. Be like that.4 points

I used vectra for probably 8-9 yrs on my lab. It worked awesome. No ticks ever. We started using it after he got a tick borne disease, anaplasmosis. We camp in the northwoods and I had used another preventative that was useless, picked 36 ticks off a black pup in one day. IDK if the stuff was bad long term or not, but he got some form of blood cancer and we had to put him down recently. Absolutely no clue if the stuff helped him get cancer or not, but cancer is common in labs, well many dogs actually. He did live to almost 12 and was very healthy until right at the end. Take it for what its worth.....2 points

Mu 8lb’r has had a Colesto all of his 12yrs. Few few if any ticks. 3 weeks or so my wife heard about the Colesto issues and took it off him. 12 or so ticks in a few days end of last week ! Holy shit ! Collar back on Saturday and no ticks yet. As a note: we live in the woods and when even walking down our dirt roads he walks off the side if them, and pees/poops in the woods, lololol. So his collar really works ! I’m open for safer methods if anyone has one. Edit in: person from another forum who lives kinda near you Snacks, wife works for a vet and uses for her dogs and suggests Credelio.2 points

At a certain point, intelligent people realize that so much credibility and integrity has been sacrificed in order to properly make a virtue signaling weapon. This integrity will not be able to be rebuilt. Trust is lost in our system now. DC is to blame...along with all the professions that rode with them for the dollars. Mental health, environmental and now, health care professionals. All have lost the publics respect and trust.2 points

It's amazing how no one is even remotely curious where covid came from. I remember with ebola they had teams of people that tracked that down to patient zero. With covid, nada. Something about bats and a wet market where said bat wasn't even sold.2 points

Yep that one always gets me how no one questioned her about where she got the wealth and horses from. A comptroller of a town the size of dixon has no business having even anything remotely close to that kind of money.1 point

currently, Tahoe, old V70R, wife's Saab was and most every performance car I've ever owned. big fan of good suspension and brake mods going way back. I don't miss a rat's nest of vacuum hoses under the hoods. I like the seats in my 06 Tahoe much better than everything GM has done since 2007. They should really bring back I tops... or T tops 100% on the 'SUV' comment The OEM domestics did a great job of convincing morons they weren't buying station wagons back in the early nineties - which is really what they are. Personally, I love station wagons and have been sad to see most of them killed off by American manufacturers as I grew up driving them and still have one. The CTS-V and Magnum SRT wagons were cool cars in my book. Drove one of these through high school, dad bought it new and I only destroyed one transmission doing Reverse to 1st drops. Used to pack eight friends in it, a keg of beer and drive around on the lake in winter with it. My younger brother finally destroyed it long after I was out on my own, seems a rod went through the side of the block when he accidently hit neutral at WOT while manually banging gears on the column shifter.1 point
