i disagree. just because a vendor paid money to advertise, that doesnt disqualify them from receiving criticism. shady advertisers should be called out just as much, if not more, than a "regular" member

Did 240miles today. Later start today mostly stayed close to Houlton explored club trails and made our way to Ashland and over to presque isle. It was snowing like a mother in the afternoon couldn’t see 50ft in front of you so was slow going but did decent mileage considering conditions. Picked up around 3-5in of fresh snow up here. I broke my buds turbo cat 5miles from the room so unfortunately no morning rip before heading home tomorrow. Good 3 days of riding for about 750miles. Forgot my phone today so didn’t get any pics.

Shady, putting out a bad or defective product, not delivering as or when promised, not returning phone calls or emails, but the person making those claims better have some sort of proof of their claims of the wrong doings. Some people do not like a certain company and bad mouth them that's not right, prove your claims about a company. We booted a couple advertisers over the years just because they could not follow the rules. One would cry that he was being picked on by members but turned around and did the same thing to other peoples threads & posts. We had 2 sections for members to complain, one for members selling stuff and one for advertisers and their products, you allow people to voice their complains just keep them in their own forums and make the person complaining can prove their claim. Shit happens and there are usually 3 sides to every story and given a little time a lot of the complaints got worked out between the parties involved with the issue(s). DooTalk does not have a member or advertiser feedback forum, HCS does, we even had to have V.S. step in and make the final decision on a paying advertiser or 3, after all it was V.S.'s money to lose not ours so they decide if the advertiser gets booted or not. You never know what's going on in someone's life and why they are not replying to phone calls or emails. JMO bottom line advertisers and members selling items open themselves up to criticism no matter what the product is, you can not and will never please everyone when you are buying or selling items.

I can't ever recall any snowmobile magazines back in the day reviewing an advertisers product and giving it a thumbs down or being critical of one - but now word gets out quick and people don't necessarily hold back. vendors either have to cowboy up, or take their beatings. imo...

91 miles tonight. Met 2 northbound groomers and 1 southbound groomer on the NSST. Rode to The Trestle which was closed and back to the Frst Hwy 11 lot, with a little side trip to the straight stretch south of the NSM RR tracks. Best trail is north of the Hockman Trail turnoff, pretty choppy south of that. The Tomahawk is choppy. Great night under what looks like a full moon. Only met 2 other sleds.

Did the county tour today. Two other guys came up today to ride so had group of 5. Left Houlton headed up through fort Fairfield over to van buren cut across over to st. Agatha for lunch at lakeview. After lunch headed towards fort Kent then down through portage to Ashland over to Mars hill then down to Houlton. Van Buren to fort Kent was epic as was Ashland to Mars hill. Eagle lake to Ashland was beat to shit but we passed the groomer on it’s way out. I have a new love for the cat turbo in the big open fields and woods trails thing rips. Perfect day 361 miles

I made this one a couple of years ago. The electric linear actuator is the key to getting the trails flat and also getting you out of a bind if the snow gets deep. The whole drag weighs about 200lbs. I cost me about $350 to build and the linear actuator was the main cost.
