The deer stopped coming to my deer feeder 6 weeks ago. Then a buddy who lives 1/2 mile from me and right behind my mom texted me that he had deer in the field next to his house. Never seen them there before. So I moved my trail Cam to an Oak that borders my mom’s house. My cam had died, never got any pictures. Changed the batteries 2 weeks ago or so. The snowmobile trail runs across the field. The tracks in the pic are from the neighbours who cut through to access from my buddy’s street.

Not nearly as much snow where we rode in the lower yesterday, as there was in the UP last week but it beat riding the couch, that’s for sure.

It's amazing looking at the massive lines outside of schools, morning and afternoon. These kids are being robbed of fun and growing up by helicopter parents. I remember the bus ride home always being fun as hell. A good place to let loose and laugh with fellow students.

Same for my kids school it’s been a combo of open and remote. They went remote basically thanksgiving to first week of January. No cases in her school but a handful of cases in her school district. District is 9 towns. There is no reason for them not to be in school. My daughter is much happier playing with her friend again.

Had a good weekend. Rented a cabin in Old Forge. Trails on Saturday were mint. Rode 240 miles with another couple (who bought the wifes sled at the end of last season) and their little one.

My son and I did 220 in Western Sconnie yesterday, finishing a 3 day 480 mile back pack trip!

Great weekend of riding.160 diamonds pounded yesterday and almost a hundred more today. Perfect conditions and cold af. Which helped keep traffic down. Rode from nash stream Saturday then from home today. The back up sled performed flawlessly. I remember why I rode it for 10 yrs lol
