The 155 SKS that I had was a little limited on trail because of the gearing. Off trail its a beast like only a 155 can be. Its pretty amazing how each sled slots into a noticeable niche, from 144 SBA, to 146 SKS to 155 SKS. For a compromise, I’d say the SBA is a 60/40, SKS 146 65/35. SKS 155 70/30. Get a warranty if you can. I learned that the hard way last year. How much more narrow is the SKS vs. The Assault? A 146 SKS would be sweet as well. More fun chassis imo. Can wheelies stuff that the Assault would drill into. Only drawback I found was a little more effort to turn in slow, tight turns. Once moving no issues. It’s generating January type work. You can only ride at night due to deer season. Mine as well hit it while it’s there. Dec will be 45 and rain. Almost 2200 miles in all conditions last year no issues or even a hint of them with steering. Sled is awesome. We’ll see how it goes this year with all the changes I made. I rode one, and have passed plenty,. it's awful on a trail..get the assault, it's an incredible all around sled,. Rides like a 137 on the trail, step off and your golden too, just a bit more effort to get it on its side..I'll take that effort over blowing a corner all day long..

It’s a logging road sled. 1000s of miles of that near me. Not a wise choice running hard groomed trail all day. A bud has one ,144 with a 2” paddle. He doesn’t like the feel of it over 80 mph on the grade. Says it’s a ball on unplowed roads. He heats his shop with wood. Pulls a big slay loaded with timber with it. His shop is across the road from that pump. He goes into frozen swamps and drops big dead trees.

The poo just feels the best to me. I HIGHLY doubt i will like the G4 as much as my axys, but I figured i'd give it a try. Its fun trying different sleds. No doubt, I absolutely loved my XCR. $15-16k for a new 850 is just too damn much, and the 19s are still commanding big bucks for sleds with 2-3k on them already.
