dirtybeacher
It was an epic dump. 3’ + in 48hrs. Drift lines were insane. It was a 3 goggle day. Last time I remember blower pow like this was 2008.

This is his backup sled, i hope he gets it running, cause it’s supposed to rain here starting Monday.

smokin george
The wife and I are heading down to a buddies place then going out for a little leisure ride. His daughter wants to try sledding for the first time and she'll be on his Gade ( hope not a big mistake) and he'll have his grandson on the back of his wife's sled. We'll be on the bush trails around here so it shouldn't be too bad with traffic. His daughter handles a big atv no problem but it's not a sled lol
Platinum Contributing Member Blackstar Posted March 1, 2020 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted March 1, 2020 (edited) -17C here right now and will be above the freezing mark by noon. Will be above zero for the rest of the week. Trails will be gone again. Can't believe they came back to life on Friday. Feeling lucky to be getting one more ride in today. Sleds are fueled, loaded in the trailer and the truck is warmed up in the driveway. Just waiting for her to roll out of bed. dirtybeacher
Best snow of the year around here, and basically 3 days to ride it. Let my bud try out my bike, he was pretty nervous to get on it, told him the learning curve is 5 min long, he ended up ripping around like a pro and looks like I’ll have a new bike partner next year. 😆

Tomas.
Took a complete newbie out yesterday. Trails were hard but smooth enough. We have had a too many days of well above freezing over the last week or so. There was a couple of bare spots, a little more snirt, but in all, a great time was had. It started snowing late afternoon and it is -9°c here this morning so hopefully that is the fixing they needed as I am going back out again today with another complete newbie lol.

Platinum Contributing Member Rigid1 Posted March 1, 2020 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted March 1, 2020 Good ride, skirted the edge of the Tug as every rider in the state and neighboring states was up there, had to go to my 3rd drop spot as my previous two were packed full of rigs..My plan on a ride worked out good as nobody was really riding the area we went..

Platinum Contributing Member Blackstar Posted March 1, 2020 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted March 1, 2020 Rode a 100 miles or so today. 80 miles of it was pure shit. 10 miles was ok and another 10 was good. I crawled the last hour back to the truck at 20-30 mph cause my body was so beat up I couldn’t take the pounding any more. Ribs, back, arms and hands all aching. Warm temps starting tomorrow. Fuck it. I couldn’t ride for at least a few days if I wanted to. 2 1

Figured it would be nuthouse out there with all the sleds so decided against it.
