  1. While Brandon was shitting his pants with the pope - Russia was amassing troops on the border, & it could have been resolved then. But to walk in to this shit show now would be tough. What does Putin exactly want anyway? Can't trust our media - so who knows really? I would have a meeting with him to start & see what he actually wants. I'd secure our borders first thing & start kicking illegals out. Ban masks everywhere & rid of jabs. Kick most of the freaks out of Washington & get competent people in there. Cut the red tape & get semi conductor plants going stat ...& have crews working 24/7. Fauxi on trial. Get Oil companies drilling.

  3. Drill, baby, drill Steve Feietag Sat, March 12, 2022, 6:00 AM A line of off-shore oil rigs in the Santa Barbara Channel near the Federal Ecological Preserve en route to the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary in March 2015. (Al Seib/Los Angeles Times/TNS) Most Americans share a concern about our climate. When Joe Biden took office, the U.S. was energy independent, just as it was before COVID hit the world, as we exported more oil than we imported. Gas was around $2 a gallon. Biden's first week in office, not only did he stop construction of the Keystone Pipeline, but he banned drilling on public land, and also added a lot of restrictions and costs to drilling elsewhere. As a result, the U.S. had to import a lot more oil. Even before Russia invaded Ukraine, gas was up around a dollar a gallon. This had nothing to do with COVID. With our high demand, prices before the pandemic were still reasonable. So, while the Biden Administration says there are 9,000 permits to drill for oil that are unused, that's a phony argument, as the new fees, new restrictions and the areas of those permits do not lend themselves well to drilling. Due to Russia, gas is now even higher. This is the time for Joe Biden to be a leader and recognize that while in theory his policies are good for our climate, we must return to being energy independent. In North Dakota alone, 500,000 barrels of oil per day just sit in the ground. In Alaska, it's much larger. How does it help our climate to reduce our oil consumption, if that production is made up by Iran, Venezuela, or Saudi Arabia? While Americans are willing to sacrifice somewhat to help our climate, the current cost to do that help is just too much to bear. High gas prices get reflected in almost everything Americans purchase. It's not just filling the car. It impacts the pricing of almost everything. The current price of oil hurts low- and middle-income Americans the hardest. Some politicians and others may say "How can we put a price tag on helping our climate?" I say we can. I ask those who say we must sacrifice by paying these current and future high prices to help our climate the following: Will you donate $100 to a good Climate Control Cause? How about $1,000? There comes a point where the amount we ask Americans to sacrifice is much larger than Americans are willing to pay. I believe most Americans wouldn't mind paying 10 cents a gallon extra, or perhaps 25 cents a gallon extra to help our climate. But I'm convinced that very few Americans are willing to pay $1 or more extra per gallon and the accompanying impact on inflation that causes on other products and food to keep U.S. energy production stifled. 5. I personally think it started in the mid 2000's when they force sleds and PG&A down dealers throats that couldn't sell or afford to floor plan that much. Then they cheaped out on certain parts, that cost them in warranty (IMO - bearings). Then they released the Procross 1-2 years early, did what you posted, and capped it off with spending their last 40+ mil in cash on their trendy North Loop headquarters, that Textron immediately axed. Claude and Chris really fucked them good.

  13. While it seems odd to be able to send missiles not aircraft for them to use, if Poland or any other country wants to send them let them send on their own, not drag the US into that decision at all, let the EU handle it. Do whatever we can to help without getting into another war.

  14. Think I had my last ride for the year. Trails were still good but temps next week will be in the mid 40's and roads and road crossings were already bare. 4200 miles for the year. Not @Mag6240miles but not bad about my average. The areas I rode this year all the clubs did a great job . Regrets for the year was not riding or grooming any trails around home and every week it was a 2 plus hour ride one way to get to ridable snow. Lot of windshield time.

  15. Put long term guarantees on drilling leases and permits to encourage more domestic production. Encourage massive investment in semiconductor and battery manufacturing. Build small scale nuke plants and get our power from fossil fuels down to near zero. Pump in seawater for cooling and desalination in the process, solving the west's water problems for good. Help arm our allies and don't prevent our allies from helping theirs. This Poland thing is a pure disaster.

  16. My feelings are still to at least send them the Russian built Migs....I think Biden was solely responsible for that decision. I just don't see that as any more escalatory than sending anti-tank and anti-aircraft munition..... screw Putin on telling us what we can and can't do

  17. Trump got NATO to understand they needed to participate in their own defense. BTW congress is responsible for spending...Trump never signed a true budget all continuing resolutions a continuation of previous malfeasance. Remember the temper tantrums you and the left threw when he tried to cut spending and the Democrats closed federal parks etc...fuck the leftists.

  18. Putin and the Rocket boy pretty much hid in the shadows the last four years waiting for the present Dimwit in Chief to take over. They were afraid that the Orange man might have the balls to put them in their place or bomb them into submission. Biden isn't in charge of his own bowel movements much less than negotiations with Putin. Biden's only saving grace is he is currently keeping Kameltoe from taking the reins of this country. How long till Kim Dong sends a missile to the West coast and China takes over Taiwan with no repercussions from Biden?? It's coming if Biden can't get Putin to back down.
