Ended up at the bar that was bad aboot 120 miles yesterday not bad ctec 2 got aboot 14-15 mpg US with average riding. Some racing some light trail cruising. Loving this sled so far the bobcats were neat. Was 2 of them playing on the trail. They could care less that we drove up and watched them

Had some fun during the week on the north shore 2nd week in feb. Been too long since I’ve been back ! Had the wives with and it was their 1st time on the trails . My wife had only been riding on the farm for 10 years..... she was a bit nervous. But she put on 240 miles in 3 days which is a great start for them. Going to get back up there in March for another ride.

Well another Irondog is in the books. Team 7, Tyler Aklestad and Nick Olstad are the first team to the finish line in Big Lake. They have both won the race several times before but this is the first time they have raced together and it was obviously a great match. I think they won with a +3hr lead over second Nice work Tyler and Nick.

After over a years worth of work my man cave/kids play area is finally complete. The wife can have the entire upstairs now. Figured I would share Still need some bar lights/ wall decor but it’s 99% complete. Just in time for spring training. Added about 1000 sq ft of living area to the house.

We normally took 2 vacations every year when I was working. One with kids and one without. In 48 years of living in Alaska I have left the state at least 100 times. Left the country 15 times not including going to Canada. Driven out or back at least 15 times. Its safe to say we have done our share of traveling. Ive been to every state in the union and 20 different countries.

So we had a disappointing night. The front drive shaft snapped on the second lap. We picked Billy up at race mile 12 then headed back to watch the race. The course was brutal. No breeze meant the dust hung low. All the teams were flying but as the laps counted up the course was getting gnarly. Team Radios all across the pits were calling in with demise. At the end of the night Polaris had a good showing. The new Polaris buggies are fast and durable. Its just incredible what any of these buggies can endure. The Red Bull RZR was the Unlimited Turbo winner. Cognito buggy got 2nd in Pro Turbo Sierra got 3rd in Pro Turbo Blue RZR got first in Stock Turbo class Unofficial results of course Every finisher is a winner IMO.

My municipality does recycle but you have to bring to the dump, no curbside, so almost all of it ends up in the fill.

The same guy found this in a barn in the western UP. I missed out on it by a day. It was 100% original and 2wd. It’s now a 4x4 with a big hp Cummings. Fucker has a crazy collection.
