I was across the street from Capital Grill? 2 blocks from you? You chose to work until 6:30? Then my customer threw me problems at 2 pm. Then my wife was bitching because I wasn’t going to be home until 8pm? This was more complicated than moving a pool table?  Next time you are in n town, try working around my schedule and stop being so damn selfish!

Well Neal was down the street from me,and we were going to do steaks. My work and wife fucked that all up. My little plan for a fun Friday night failed. It truly sucks having a wife and a career? I think Neal was going to hug me and everything?

Somehow maintain my composure and bight my fucking tong until the reception that doesn’t start until 7pm tomorrow night. It’s my wife’s side of the family that is putting me through this hell. I fucked with a customer today. Told them I was buying lunch. Voted the best tacos in the area and I would be there around 11:30. Told them to be hungry.😂

This.  Just picked up a ribeye loin last week, chopped it into 1” steaks.  Love my ribeyes.  :bc:

We were at Costco yesterday and the wife said she wanted some steaks. I looked at the strip lions and rib eyes. Holy fkn robbery and no way was I taking out a bank loan lol. I don't mind paying for rib eyes but the selection they had wasn't impressive. Too small/thin for the price and I should've bought a big rib roast and cut it up.

This.  Our local Sam’s club butcher does a good job with meat and I’ve had him slice me some nice cuts but, those big vacuum packed roasts are the way to go!  Even my normal butcher can’t compete with that.

We used to go to a local butcher when we lived in the city and they were there for ever. Good quality, pricey  but Costco is just as good. We usually get the striploin and cut it ourselves and normally look for a couple nice rib eyes. I guess we were too early there yesterday and I should've asked them to cut a couple up

I’ve gotten those as well as tenderloins too, and at Costco.  Trimming and chopping them up is a little extra work, but the local butcher does them up into steaks for me in less than half the time.  Kind of on a ribeye kick lately.

Rib steaks are our favourite. We did an 18lb rib roast on the rotisserie one year at X-mas that was pretty tasty. I didn't think the motor was gonna turn it lol.

The bone really helps the strip out imo

Bone in Rib-eye is my personal favorite but frankly, as long as it's cooked properly, I have yet to meet a steak I didn't like. :bc:

Last one we did, we saved about an 8 pounder for a roast.   Just delicious.  :bc:

There is no such thing. there is a bone in rib steak, this includes the eye, and then then there is the rib eye. The rib eye is the smaller portion of the rib steak in the center.
