Neal I was across the street from Capital Grill? 2 blocks from you? You chose to work until 6:30? Then my customer threw me problems at 2 pm. Then my wife was bitching because I wasn’t going to be home until 8pm? This was more complicated than moving a pool table? Next time you are in n town, try working around my schedule and stop being so damn selfish!

We were at Costco yesterday and the wife said she wanted some steaks. I looked at the strip lions and rib eyes. Holy fkn robbery and no way was I taking out a bank loan lol. I don't mind paying for rib eyes but the selection they had wasn't impressive. Too small/thin for the price and I should've bought a big rib roast and cut it up. Our local Sam’s club butcher does a good job with meat and I’ve had him slice me some nice cuts but, those big vacuum packed roasts are the way to go! Even my normal butcher can’t compete with that. We used to go to a local butcher when we lived in the city and they were there for ever. Good quality, pricey but Costco is just as good. We usually get the striploin and cut it ourselves and normally look for a couple nice rib eyes. I guess we were too early there yesterday and I should've asked them to cut a couple up

Trimming and chopping them up is a little extra work, but the local butcher does them up into steaks for me in less than half the time. Kind of on a ribeye kick lately. We did an 18lb rib roast on the rotisserie one year at X-mas that was pretty tasty. I didn't think the motor was gonna turn it lol.

There is no such thing. there is a bone in rib steak, this includes the eye, and then then there is the rib eye. The rib eye is the smaller portion of the rib steak in the center.
