  1. would be nice if America could rally together again at some point. watching some of the clips from back then we had a bond post 9/11 even after an election that created drama. The divisive politics of today are destroying the country and it comes from both sides maybe one day we truly could look inside ourselves and try to make America a better place for the majority.

  15. I was in Boston working. I always had CNN on in backround. Glimpsing at the report of small airplane hit a tower. All of a sudden, airspace in Boston went dead quiet. Few minutes later military aircraft doing flyby’s. I drove 1/2 mile down to the harbor to get s better view of what the F was going on, and military and coast guard boats (inflatables with frt mount machine guns) where hauling ass sll around. I cane right back and glued myself to the tv not knowing if my area was ready to blow up or something. 2 friends and close cuz where working in that neighborhood. 2 ran out as the 1st tower came down. 3rd was late too work and stuck in the subway as towers came down. Unfortunately, all his co employees that where at work that day died. 50 of them ? I did go to the memorial on NYC 5-6 yrs ago. Very emotional. Wife and I had to take a few breaks while in there. I will never forget. May those who died rest in peace, and those still suffering get the care they need.

  17. If that isn't, all of it, coercion, I don't know what is! If any other drug or vaccine had as many side affects and caused this many deaths, it would have been removed long ago. Never in my life did I think the gov't, and those that OK/support all this, would become so stupid.

  18. RNC says it plans to sue over federal vaccination mandate Dartunorro Clark Thu, September 9, 2021, 8:51 PM The Republican National Committee said Thursday that it plans to sue the Biden administration after the president issued two sweeping executive orders that will require Covid vaccinations for as many as 100 million people in the U.S. RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said the mandate was "unconstitutional" in a statement. "Joe Biden told Americans when he was elected that he would not impose vaccine mandates. He lied. Now small businesses, workers, and families across the country will pay the price," she said. "Like many Americans, I am pro-vaccine and anti-mandate," she said. "Many small businesses and workers do not have the money or legal resources to fight Biden's unconstitutional actions and authoritarian decrees, but when his decree goes into effect, the RNC will sue the administration to protect Americans and their liberties." Biden, who has been under pressure to act decisively as the spread of the delta variant of the coronavirus has caused Covid cases to rise in recent weeks, announced in a speech Thursday that federal workers and contractors will be required to be vaccinated. He also announced new requirements for large employers and health care providers that he said would affect around 100 million workers, more than two-thirds of the U.S. workforce. Biden said in December that he would not favor a vaccination mandate, but in recent months, as vaccination numbers stalled, he has encouraged vaccination requirements in schools, workplaces and college campuses. In his speech, he sharply criticized the tens of millions of eligible people who remain unvaccinated. "We've been patient, but our patience is wearing thin," Biden said, making a direct appeal to the 80 million people who he said were still unvaccinated. "Your refusal has cost all of us." Republican lawmakers, many of whom have resisted mask mandates and vaccinations, swiftly criticized the president. Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, for instance, signaled legal action in a tweet. "This is exactly the kind of big government overreach we have tried so hard to prevent in Arizona — now the Biden-Harris administration is hammering down on private businesses and individual freedoms in an unprecedented and dangerous way," Ducey said. "This will never stand up in court." He added, "We must and will push back." Half of U.S. workers favor vaccination mandates in their own workplaces, according to an AP-NORC poll released last month, while only about a quarter oppose them. Fifty-three percent of people in the U.S. have already been fully vaccinated, and 9 percent more have taken one shot of a two-dose regimen, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Millions of the unvaccinated are young children for whom the vaccines have not yet been approved, and Biden said Thursday that only 25 percent of the eligible population is totally unvaccinated.

  22. It's crazy how vivid my memory of where I was when I heard the news come over the radio. I was listening to the morning show on WCCO and had just hit the turn signal to exit off of interstate 35 at North Branch, MN heading to a customers office. I pulled into the parking lot, called the wife and talked for a few minutes to tell her I was heading home after a short meeting. I walked into the office and every one was watching on the old black and white tv in the warehouse.

  24. Joshua Tree in California. The Cottonwood site. King’s Range, Lost Coast California. Yakima River Canyon campground in Washington state. There’s also tons of areas in Arizona and Nevada too. But those above are recognized as the top three. All have dispersed camping or if you prefer, there’s usually an area where campers congregate. Some area have pit shitters and fire rings. You’ll have to bring your own water. You can only stay in one area for 14 days and you need to move on. I bought some land down near the border in Arizona. I’m having a pad and well installed for wintering. I tried to convince my daughter to move to Texas. She can’t right now. So I’ll be going full time in “23. Selling everything. Winter down there and spend summer in the cool north.
