  1. We are living in dystopian times right now. The media and the power elite have formed an unholy alliance, and it needs to be confronted and destroyed.

  2. LOL 😆 the Dems have made it political since the day Nancy Pelosi stood in Chinatown telling everyone to come on down in January 2020.

  3. If you want to wear a mask...wear a mask. If you want to get vaccinated, get vaccinated. But do it quietly and go about your OWN fucking personal business. Virtue signaling, ironically, is NOT a virtue.

  8. Good one! COST! My god...it's out of fucking control. Funny thing is, we've been doing some estate sale shit here this last month. Guys showing up with their pristine beds all rhino lined up...and bringing cardboard and carpet scraps to slide stuff in and out so not to mar up the liner. Shit....I feel like I should be kind of embarrassed about my truck bed....sure, it's an expensive, limited, four X mall crawler also but, my bed is a fucking wreck! Because...IT"S USED AS A GOD DAMN TRUCK!

  10. Without question the media is the most significant enemy we have. The politicians are dangerous but without the media they have no megaphone.

  20. There is a great fly fishing only pond there that’s hard to get to. It’s full of trout. Black Mountain Pond it’s remote and accessible by 4 wheelers and you have to walk in the last half mile.

  21. I didn’t necessarily side with them but I did think that Israel really wasn’t interested in a fair and equitable peace but I also thought that the Palestinians were culpable to some extent as well. Now it’s clear to me that it’s a lost cause and there really is zero reason for optimism whereas in the past I felt there was a glimmer of hope for peace. This also feels different because you have Palestinian and Israeli Civilans fighting each other in the streets...these are people that are neighbors and it’s been decades since we’ve seen this.

  25. @Zambroski my sister backed into the driver side doors on my 2005 1500HD a couple years back and thought I’d be pissed - I said ‘now it’s got some character to go along with the rust!!’. A few weeks later I see a guy driving down the road with bashed in doors and thought to myself ‘that guy must have a sister too’!

  27. I'll fucking make it. This whole thing has been a trumped up (Pun?) bullshit parade from close to the start. Complete propaganda and BS on the actual seriousness of this virus. Many have first hand knowledge of what the HC community has done to cover and collect from this "pandemic". It's astounding....and very disturbing. I personally like the words the CDC uses; 'People that are fully vaccinated can go about their lives normally again". Pffft....as if the ones that refuse this shit have to stay indoors and wear their masks. What a god damn load of shit.

  28. Where do you think the US would be today without it's Jewish population? Poland and Russia purged their highly educated Jewish populations and look where it got them. Europe in general has not been kind to the Jews so they are not going back there. As Golda Meir said a place on earth for the Jews.

  29. For the most part, pre WWII, there was a big button to the right of the gas pedal. You put in the key, turn it to 'run' (no start option) and press the button with your toe. You could give it little gas with your heel, usually had to do that. There was no solenoid in those days, that switch in the floor carried the full current from the battery to the starter. If you didn't have the key, or it was off, the starter would still kick over if you pressed the button. There was probably a manual choke too. Pull knob out some, all the way if it's cold out. Push it in a little at a time as you drove the first few miles. Part of the reason there were no cup holders is that your hands were pretty busy just driving in those days.

  36. IMO the team clutches are junk. There is a design failure that causes heat build up and cracking. If you have one keep a close eye on the base of both sheaves. I've got a friend who's 998 launched pieces of one into low earth orbit, and some into the ground. Clutch was less than a year old. ADAPT primary is currently made in 30mm and 33mm, so once weights and springs become more available it should be able to work on most everything besides the 1000 twin, and 1100 turbo

  37. Better late than never, I finally got my hands on one to check out. Honestly the castings and machine work are beautiful. Here are a couple pictures with my guess to how it works. The water marks are my little fuck you to VS. Cover off, spring out shows the bolts holding the spider on, and holes that the weights come through Plastic washer that spring cover hits at full shift, to keep sheaves from wearing on each other Spider off, shows the snap ring that the plastic washer rests on, and the steel nut that retains the idler bearing, and gives the spider a place to bolt to Closer view of the spider, the buttons are in their own little carrier, that rides on a pin, retained by a roll pin Bottom view of the spider, the carrier for the buttons is free to move on its pin, and the rollers are easily changed by removing a small retaining screw And a close up of the moveable sheave showing the casting rib that the weight notch goes around The weight, washers, retaining screw, and pin. The bushing, and roller surface are quite wide. Notice the notch to clear a rib in the moveable sheave. This clutch is off an 800, and runs a 66g weight. The pivot pin is further from the crankshaft, allowing a lighter weight to apply the required force.

  39. I know it well. As a teen in the late 60’ I spent a lot of time on Great East Lake and we haunted that area in the summer and winter. The Pizza Barn was a great destination if we didn’t go to the Poor People’s Pub.
