Let's be honest. Most people rarely tow anything with their 1/2 ton truck, especially hundreds of miles. People use trucks like they used to use sedans. They're commuters, mall crawlers, grocery getters, etc. People just like the convenience and diversity a truck offers. For the vast majority of truck owners, an electric truck with enough range to get them to their nearest airport is going to suit them perfectly. You guys who need to tow your daddy's field tractor to the dealer 300 miles away won't ever be using anything electric to do that.
