Greta Thunberg is Time's 2019 Person of the Year

The 16-year-old climate activist from Sweden Thunberg is the magazine's youngest choice ever to be named Person of the Year.

When they nominate puppets, it ruins the message.

Why are we holding this girl up as the face of climate change? She's not a scientist, she's not studied the climate a day in her life, she merely parrots what she's been told. Why are we treating her as though she is some sort of expert whose opinion is important?

She's being used a pawn.
