  3. We were talking about Yamaha turbos. You post some faggot old procross 1100 turbo picture of a sled you didn’t own and know nothing about babbling about horsepower figures trying to somehow fit into the discussion. It’s so fucking stupid you’ve got to be handicapped.

  4. We are all sucked into a narrative. Our opinions are assigned to us. This isn't a Democrat or Republican thing - both sides benefit when We the People are convinced that we have to pick a side. The more polarized we are, the better it is for them. "Dark Brandon mops the floor" is a perfect example. Once you see it, you can see through it.

  8. The catalyst gets them on par in most areas chassis wise but I highly doubt it's going to get ahead of rMotion. It's only a 600 and that's just fucking lame no matter how many "800" parts it contains. They are so far behind in the engine game it's fucking pathetic and they still will be when everyone is riding in the year 2024. The gauge package is a joke and the dildo size seat is great if you are into that sort of thing. No, it's not going to sell anywhere near the numbers that dumfuckstad thinks they will. Cat, or really Textron, still needs to get their heads out of their asses and decide if they want to lead or continue to try to just keep up. I am not sure anything coming out these days is great for sledders regardless of the letters on the hood. Sure, much of it is high tech gadgetry but it all comes and a ridiculous price for what you get and then there are the shitty and short riding seasons that makes me wonder why anyone will shell out $20-30 grand for a new sled, accessories and gear.

  9. I don't care what they do as long as they pay for it. Get them water then every dry area in the country is going to expect it. Its stupid.

  12. They "were' several years behind. Now they have the newest chassis. The G5 is just an updated G4, so Doo's chassis is 6 years old going on 7. The Matryx is not a new chassis, so Poo's chassis is 8 years old, going on 9. Not only that Polaris sleds are riddled with recalls. The Catalyst is reported to handle better then both, and the belt drive with less moving parts means it has less rolling friction, I think it will be the best Mountain sled. Polaris and Ski-Doo will be hard pressed to come out with anything anytime soon that its as good or better, as Cat has had several years of R&D making their new sled better then anything out there. Your comment is valid if its 2022 and we don't know what Cat is doing, but the several years behind anyone comment is complete garbage at this point and is a thing of the past. As far as sales, it only takes one good product to get sales numbers going again, and word on the street is Catalyst has thousands of pre-orders.

  13. I think Cat is going to be facing a tough go for market share for some time to come. They are several years behind ski doo and even Polaris with engines and chassis. The Catalyst hopes to be a chassis that competes with the others - but Doo and Poo are well into development of the next ones. Unless Textron continues to invest in R&D I don’t see much changing for Arctic Cat. With all that said, I like their sleds and hope the company does well.

  15. Polaris has done it for years - they give race teams XX amount of sleds (more than what they need) and the teams sell them off to finance their race programs. Its also a way of keeping uncle sam out of the equation vs paying them with a check that can be taxed as income.

  16. BIG difference, the radio that I use in my semi is a off the shelf Uniden 76 with matched twin Wilson 2000 trucker antennas and radio tuned and peaked, dead keys at 4 watts swings 40, 5 to 15 mile range depending on conditions

  17. Same. What does it matter? The media will just lie about everything for a week after and the vast majority of Americans who didn’t watch will believe it. All that is trending today is how Biden slapped the R’s around . Remember when Leno used to do man on street? Where he would ask people about events that hadn’t happened yet and the people would give their opinions on them. This is the dumb American voter.

  20. Swedish massages for rabbits: $387,000 The National Institutes of Health paid this six figure sum to the NationalCenter for Complimentary and Alternative Medicine in order to discern whether Swedish massages would be helpful in recovering from an illness. Teaching Mountain Lions to Ride a Treadmill: $856,000 The National Science Foundation shelled out nearly a million taxpayer dollars to determine if captive mountain lions could be trained to ride a treadmill. The University of California-Santa Cruz researcher even boasted about receiving the grant saying, “People just didn’t believe you could get a mountain lion on a treadmill, and it took me three years to find a facility that was willing to try.” If anyone was wondering, it took the lions all of eight months to learn. Studying how many times “hangry” people stab a voodoo doll: $331,000 After teaching mountain lions about treadmills, the National Science Foundation also funded a study to come up with the self evident conclusion that hungry people tend to be more angry and aggressive. They tested this theory by allowing spouses to poke pins into voodoo dolls as their “hanger” grew. Studying the gambling habits of monkeys: $171,000 Another NSF grant funded the study of gambling monkeys. Under the guise of studying the “hot-hand bias” in human gamblers, the University of Rochester devised a computer game, taught monkeys to play it, and studied how they responded to winning and losing. A doctoral candidate who worked on the study seemed pleased to learn, “Luckily, monkeys love to gamble.” Taxpayers, on the other hand, will not be pleased to find out this study is set to continue through May of 2018 Producing the children’s musical: Zombie in Love: $10,000 The National Endowment for the Arts funded the production of a musical to die for. Aimed at children four and up, the musical tells the story of Mortimer the teenage zombie and his quest to find love and happiness. The NEA officials justified this use of tax money by saying that Mortimer “exemplifies anyone who has felt like an outsider.” Funding a “Stoner Symphony”: $15,000 The location of this performance shouldn’t shock anyone. What is sure to shock taxpayers is the amount of their money that was provided to the Colorado Symphony Orchestra to host “Classically Cannabis: The High Note Series.” Not only was the program pot-related, the people were encouraged to inhale (and chow down) while watching. Subsidizing Alpaca Poop: $50,000 In addition to this project making the cut for Sen. Coburn, this little gem was also covered by CNSNews.com last month. The U.S. Department of Agriculture shelled out a hefty sum to help develop and market Alpaca “Poop Packs” for use as fertilizer. This is government waste, literally.
