$300 Unemployment + $300 COVID Fed Unemployment = $600.00 a week or $15.00 hr.   Hell in Iowa you can qualify for $515 state plus $300 fed for $815/week or $20.38/hr and stay home and not pay daycare.

Lots won't go back to work until we get rid of Covid part and put a time limit on what the states provide.

Drove to St. Cloud a few weeks ago and virtually every plant had help wanted signs out....some starting over $20.00 hr and they still can't find people to work.

Tell us again how UBI won't impact who is willing to work.  Fact is there are lots of fucking lazy people in this country that have listened to the left that somehow they are getting fucked in this country.

all created by a government running scared and putting no thought into the subsidies they put out there.   And poor management of states in not requiring these people look for jobs rather than just collect.

Competition breeds higher wages.  If you can’t find people to work it is likely you are not paying enough to do the job.

Correct!  Its really hard to compete with Government hand outs when they equate to $15/hr.  They are just moving the minimum wage differently than actually raising it.

Max unemployment here is $445. Poop that the $300, and that's $745 a week. That is what a driver starts out at here... $20 an hour.

Had 5 new hires last month. Potential for a $100,000 a year job with in 5 years. All the bennies in the world. Nope. 4 out of 5 quit after the 2nd week.

Nothing wrong with increasing income for Americans.

Nope, completely agree.  I just would have thought there was a better way than government handouts.

Lots of time private companies need some intervention to do the right thing.

Yes competition is great between companies and wages, but competing against the government?  No that is not the way to incentivize work or the way to get companies to raise wages.  It may work, but it's not the proper way to do it and in the long run it just promotes a lazy workforce.

They couldn’t even count the low wage, fast food and service workers Obama used to bump up the numbers because, they forgot they are paying them not to work....or otherwise just pretty much shut them down.

Who the fuck are you to say, and who gets to do the intervention? You and your like, or others and their likes?

I hope you were being funny....

Government handouts shouldn't be the competition you face.

A bunch of employees up in here arguing against better wages for employees.  Fuck...  the deep throating of business owners is epic up in here.  Hitler couldn’t get his sheep in line any better or easier.
