Had some family visiting over the summer. My wife took some stuff out of her suv and put it in front of garage. My young cousin asked her “you going to leave that outside? Aren’t you worried it will get stolen? ummmm no. Yep, and if it is raining they know they can toss it in any truck sitting here as there is no need to lock them.

We tilted them towards the side where they would go down into the bushes instead of the steep ass drop off on one side, lol He had heard that someone else had done it so he wanted to do it. We stopped and burned one on Frankenstein Trussle, lol

Does ACT still make clutches for those things?? I busted up the stock unit pretty good, and an ACT stage II was the ticket - springs were WAY stiffer than stock. I was pushing just over 200hp some 25 years ago N/A.

Was probably gonna get one or a Competition clutch they make nice ones for older Honda's also. Should of known better clutch was acting up at high RPMs wanted to change it over the winter but just sent it . Platinum Contributing Member Jimmy Snacks Posted December 15, 2023 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted December 15, 2023 On March 18, 1944, 27-year-old Aimo Koivunen and his Finnish ski unit were in Lapland, Finland's northernmost region, when they were attacked by superior Soviet forces. Forced to retreat through deep snow, Koivunen found himself exhausted. He remembered he had a supply of Pervitin, an early form of crystal meth used in World War 2. Unable to open just one pill while skiing away, he swallowed all 30 pills. This gave him an immediate burst of energy, allowing him to outpace the Soviets and his unit, before passing out. When he woke up, he'd covered 100 kilometers (62 miles) alone and high, without food or ammunition. He kept skiing, encountering Soviets multiple times but always escaping, even after an injury from a landmine. He travelled 400 kilometers (250 miles) to reach Finnish territory. Upon arrival, he weighed only 94 pounds and his heart raced at 200 beats per minute. He survived until age 71, dying in 1989. 3

DriftBusta
What happen after a Ski Doo 900 turbo rolls down a hill and lands on the throttle for 10 seconds or so before getting shut off and the crankshaft gets oil starved. Thought it was fine, rode 5 miles back to camp no problems. A week later, rolling into town and grabbed a bit of throttle, just died. Saw oil gushing out of the bellypan, knew it was bad. I wear a tether 100% of the time now, when it was just a random thing previously. Dealer quoted me 11 grand to put a new motor in. On a sled I paid 12,800 a year earlier. Insurance covered it as a total. Went into the dealer, he had a blue Backcountry sitting there, so I just said I'll take that one. Only missed one day of riding. 2 2

Platinum Contributing Member Jimmy Snacks Posted December 15, 2023 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted December 15, 2023 On June 11, 2021, commercial lobster diver Michael Packàrd was swallowed by a humpback whale near Provincetown, Massachusetts. For over 30 seconds, his crewmates feared for his life, but fortunately, the whale resurfaced after about 40 seconds, spitting out Packàrd. Miraculously, he survived with only bruising and a dislocated knee. 3
