We were raised to hate everything Russia. I spent two years in different Mid East countries helping make sure the oil kept flowing. We would be tied up to the same piers as Russia war ships. I had dinner and drinks on two different Russian war ships in those two years. Russia officers would come on our ship to have closed door dinner and drinks. A couple of dozen enlisted would walk over and do the same on their ship. Except our ship was a flag ship and theirs was a little destroyer. I’m sure the conversations were completely different. They wanted the same thing back then,keep shipping open and Iran was fucking that up for both countries. A far cry from what we were told growing up. This anti Putin thing is laughable. He is doing the same thing we do. The propaganda during war is part of selling a idea.
