I did this analysis of data from Georgia yesterday since I wasn't seeing anything on the news or "tracker" sites that wasn't just a cumulative figure. If you only ever look at cumulative figures, you'll think the sky is falling. While the cumulative figure is important, it's not a measure of the virus' pervasiveness. If you look at Georgia, which has been open for three weeks, you notice a couple things. The rate of testing has increased markedly. But even with increased testing, the number of positive tests daily is trending downward. Their "positive test" count per day is about the same now as it was at the end of March when they were doing 1/4 as many tests. Georgia is looking good and fortunately, to this point, the dem screeching about "you're gonna kill us all" by reopening has proven to be bullshit there. The fucking media malfeasance around this thing and the way they're presenting the data is borderline criminal. And most Americans are far too dumb to make any real sense of the numbers. These are my plots of the official numbers from Georgia with polynomial "best fit" lines applied. THIS IS WHAT THE MEDIA SHOULD BE PRODUCING...

Boat is in the water, ran it around the lake last night for a perfect sunset. Gonna drag a lure around later this morning.

Being just off the beaten path is very nice. Our lake is probably closer to 400 acres than it is to 500. This lake is very shallow, probably 10' average depth Lots of 4'-5' deep stuff with the riverbed at 42' max. It warms up super fast. And freezes fast in the winter. We bought our old place in 1987. There were 8 full time residents on the lake at the time and about 10 recreational cabins. There are 50 homes on the lake now and basically no cabins. Almost all of the properties are from 2 to 5 acres in size. We are only 4 miles from town so not secluded at all. The town is basically built around Wasilla Lake which is 2 lakes down river from us.

So thats why healthcare workers wear them treating the sick.
