Sounds like it would be easier to just steal a sled that has stickers on it while visiting. Then I don't have to fuck around with trailering my sleds out.The original plan was to drive my conversion van out with my sleds in the landscape trailer and swing by and pick up McRib and his sled. I appreciate having the monitor. Two times in my F150 the light came on while driving, sure enough I had a nail in a tire both times. The newer systems that display the indivudual tire pressures are even better. I'm in the habit of scrolling through and checking pressures on our cars as I'm pulling out of the driveway. Drives the wife crazy, lol. My old 2007 Impala put the light on, dinging and warning message as I was pulling into the driveway one night. Sure enough, tire going flat. Gave me warning to get up early and change it in the daylight, instead of leaving with a flat I wouldn't have seen. I'm not one to circle check, lol. But yeah, when the sensors start dying it can get expensive quick. I hate having lights on the dash that shouldn't be on.

Poncho, many trucks and some cars are programmable for the target air pressure. So if you have a 3/4 ton rated for 80 psi in the rear tires you can program it to be happy with 60 or 50 or whatever. Many tire monitors don't throw a light on untill the tire is 8 or more psi down. None of them are going to over a couple pounds or even five. With low profile tires being so common, it's harder to tell visually if a tire is low. Yeah, some guys run around with pressure gauges but the reality is most don't. How often do you guys check your wife's or kids tires?

The shit I saw that was said to have been theirs (I wonder the truth here) looked like amateur hour. Fact is, our "divide" has been done quite succussfully without any outside intervention. This whole Russia narrative was crap to start with...and now it looks like "crap" may have been too strong of a word for it. Our divide has hit this point due to Obama and his liberal fascist movement.

I purchased some Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W-30 oil and a Fram Ultra Guard synthetic oil filter the other day as I wanted to do an oil change on my wife's car despite being told a fresh oil change and filter would be done at the dealer where we bought the car. I was debating back and forth with myself to leave it until spring but my OCD got the better of me, and I am glad it did! Today, as I was changing the oil and not really paying attention to the color of the oil coming out, I noticed the Fram filter the dealer used was loose! Loose as in I barely touched it, barley laid my hands on it loose! In all the years I have been doing oil changes for myself and some others, I have never come across a loose filter like this before! I have no doubts in my mind this filter would have failed, come completely loose in just a matter of time, or well before spring. As I was decanting my used oil into some empty jugs for disposal, it dawned on me then, that this oil is waaay too dark/black for only having a couple hundred KM's on it! This past week as I was checking the oil level in the car, it seemed down a 1/4/1/2 a ltr on the dipstick but since our driveway is sloped/graded, I thought that was likely the cause? My conclusion is, the dealer just replaced the filter as that is what I or another buyer will see giving the false belief that likely the oil was changed too. Needless to say, I am glad I didn't wait around until spring as one, I highly doubt the filter would have stayed on, and 2, I had no idea how many miles were actually on this oil. Say what you will, Tommy, and others, but I believe more than ever now, doing your own oil changes, and other things mtce wise, has it's benefits other than just the amount of money you save.

I run old iron so it isn't a problem for me. I don't see myself spending the money for a new sled anytime soon. Lots of fun to be had on a used $5 - $6 thousand dollar sled IMO.
