  2. You're right , I wouldn't know anything about it , owning a Tool and die shop and injection molding company that's ISO9001:2015 certified that produces and ships parts globally makes me completely clueless on it. Do they have a podcast where I can learn all of it ? What about a podcast where I can learn how to be a drunken spectator ? because working for the series clearly doesn't give me any credibility..

  5. My son just turned 27, has gone from the new guy in a 25 person company to #4 as the Production Manager of a now company staff of 35 in just 3 years. Puts in 50-55 hours a week and gets paid for his OT. He is now training new people, directing work loads, and doing quite well - but is still far short of what he feels he needs for a small starter home here in the Twin Cities ($300k is a tough find around here). Paid off all his student loan debt when payments were paused, paid cash for a decent reliable car ($14k Accord) and is closing in on the 20% down saved up he wants to have when buying. He has done a fair amount of research, and unfortunately renting makes more financial sense than buying at the moment.

  6. A township just East of us in Northern Wis were considering shutting down their town roads mainly because freshly graded road were getting torn up by UTV's spinning donuts it them last year. There was multiple town board meetings and they restricted some town roads and would review thing this spring. Just read their April open town board meeting and it sounds like things went well and stayed positive. They have now opening up all the town roads to SxS's and ATU traffic

  7. Trump supporters won't admit to that even though Trump won in 2016 due to similar circumstances. Our country is fucked no matter which one of these clowns gets reelected in November.

  8. changing inserts to a mud set (master unit die) or a mold base is a common occurrence and is the most cost effective way to make revisions - you remove a cavity/core and replace with another - its a fraction of what a total tool build is and is the most common practice in the industry. Most molding/casting facilities use the same base and change inserts for various tools. Did you hear this on a podcast too?

  10. A teacher gave her fifth grade class an assignment to get their parents to tell them a story with a moral at the end of it. The next day the kids came back and one by one began to tell their stories. "Tony, do you have a story to share?" Yes ma'am, my daddy told me a story about my Aunt Karen when she was a pilot in Desert Storm and her plane got shot down. She had to bail out over enemy territory and all she had was a flask of whiskey, a pistol and a survival knife. She drank the whiskey on the way down in case the bottle broke when she landed. However, her parachute ended up landing right in the middle of the enemy troops. So she shot fifteen of them with her gun until she ran out of bullets then killed four more with her knife and then she killed the last Iraqi with her bare hands." "Good Heavens" said the horrified teacher. "What kind of moral did your daddy try and tell you from this horrible story?" "He told me to stay away from Aunt Karen when she's drinking."

  13. I’ve hit a wall with pool this year, I don’t know what it is. I started this season 9-0 and just don’t feel like playing anymore. Good thing I have 5 other capable guys (5/night/match) to finish the regular season, which we sit at the top of as well by an insurmountable per game average with 2 weeks to go. So they’ll have some playoffs yet also. Been doing 2 of the 3 seasons a year for 20+ years. Last year I got talked into the summer league and I’m over it….

  14. I can remember it a time or two. I remember some years they had the racers up and down the street entering the pits. Crazy. And yes, this AK440 is full on retard. Anybody that thinks the Iron Dog is a relevant race still is a half-wit. I did see a pic with 20 or so spectators though. Drunken Eskimos and family members.

  15. The video tapes don't lie......my eyes don't lie. Only a very small percentage of people got a little out of hand..... Definitely not to the extent the January 6th committee made it out too. It was a total farce and way overblown. With cherry picked pieces of video. We all saw what really went down inside the Capitol.... Pretty much non-eventful. Cops opening doors etc. The Shaman being very respectful. Sorry I just don't buy the gas lighting like some of you on here. I saw what went down.

  18. I can tell you that a Jig change is not as cheap as you perceive it to be and if you are adding a rib , or welding up a tool and machining it down for a revision - it is far less expensive then changing a jig - then it goes through the same papp process to be verified for production regardless if its a jig or a casting tool. I haven't listened to it yet , but I was at the event and have been to every snocross event for the last 7+ years. there was two overflow lots for pits and that has never happened in my time going to Duluth , @Ziemann and @Zambroski can chime in to the glory days of snocross and if it happened then.

  21. Yeah, it's a hard sell to the resident Biden supporters who have been totally gaslighted by this admin. They also believe the economy is doing well as inflation continues to plague the majority of Americans. And Biden is actually touting this economy when making his visits to his small gatherings..... Unfortunately many suck it right up despite paying much more especially for groceries and energy. How quickly people forget what it was like under Trump... Like I said, gas will be dropping quite dramatically when Trump is re-elected.... Just as it went up quickly under Biden when he pulled the keystone, killing many jobs and pushed his green agenda, threatening mandates for EVs. I really hope the majority of America is not as stupid as what is presented on this forum.

  22. Its the same bullshit defense from the same people. "We are drilling", and "its a global market" Both just bullshit narratives to make an excuse for policies that are causing this. Global market, then the price of gas should be the same around the world, right? more drilling then the price of fuel should have dropped since biden. But neither is true. Its all excuses.

Math is hard I understand - these numbers came right from the results of Friday Heat 1 for all national classes on snocross.com and the schedule for the regional shootout that can be found at :https://snocross.com/wp-content/uploads/2023-2024_ACS_EVENT_SCHEDULE_09_DULUTH_300PPI-2.pdf How many entries for the entire iron dog were there? 25 teams 50 racers total. The data is in front of you , unless that's only relevant when talking about climate change?
