Ok, so plans changed. My 13 year old wanted to cook dinner so he made the lettuce wraps. The fried rice is funny looking as it was leftover basmati rice instead of short grain rice but he did a great job. He did all the knife work and cutting. I just cleaned after him and walked him through the steps.

Had some authentic Mexican for lunch at a new spot I found. Killer tacos. They had birria in their name so I figured I'd better get a couple of those. Goat, Lamb, Beef Cheek and a fish taco. I will definitely go back. Hot as shit here so going to make some refreshing lettuce wraps for dinner.

I think the only one that has been clueless this whole time is you and other trump haters on the forum. Voting for a 47 year politician expecting anything to change in DC. We need to rid this country of that mentality.

Well I made it

It's a fucking desert.

It was. He had the wraps someplace and wanted to know how to make them so I had to write up a quick recipe. Needs a few adjustments, but for a first shot was great. He did a stellar job. The knife skills on the onions/garlic/ginger/chiles/scallions were near restaurant quality. He just turned 13 2 weeks ago, but it is finally coming together for him. Fun to watch and help.

Reminds me of when I got divorced and tried to do a "mediation" to sort things out. Each had our own lawyer, in separate rooms, giving demands. Then in a 3rd room between us, the two lawyers would convene and discuss said demands. At one point I could hear them laughing and giggling in the 3rd room... Then they would break, and move to our personal separate rooms, and talk all serious with what sounded like truths, then go back and laugh and giggle some more in the 3rd room. You get the idea, D and R are EXACTLY the same. Talk a tough talk with camera's on, get together in their little meeting rooms and laugh at the general public and how they are fucking us all over, all the while they sit in their posh offices living on the 3rd rail in life...
