Inspired by David Freiburger's Covid 350 build all from parts he had found cleaning out his garage during quarantine, I realized I had enough parts to do the same thing. So I started taking apart engines and cleaning up parts. I'm using the block and rotating assembly from an '88 Bronco, with all new bearings and seals. heads are from a '91 Ford reman crate motor with 70K miles on them. Intake is from a '89 F-150. All degreased and painted, this is the final mockup before final assembly, which will include a new cam, lifters, & double timing chain set.

First steak cook on the Masterbuilt. Reverse seared some Ribeyes. Grill went from 225 to 700 degrees in about 6 minutes.

I buy frozen dough $2.49 ea and use Primo pizza sauce $2.00 . We haven't tried making dough or sauce yet.

covid has been great to on line shops. my wife has 2 on line shops both more busy than even Christmas . just crazy and over 1/2 of the orders are people buying gifts for people and having them shipped direct to them and paying extra for wrapping etc . my wife finely said fuck it yesterday and closed both shops so she could get out of town for a week and just chill at the cabin

It's as productive as some of the threads here.

continuous buying on the up and down works great. We buy a regular amount each week. In the long term this has proven to be a great way to not concern yourself with fluctuations and even major drops. Over time the market will perform I guess MC has nothing but 1% GICs.

It's a mixed bag, our area has a large weekend population from NY and NJ, had no measures been taken and people in our area had become infected our health system is not equipped to handle large numbers. This was a damned if you do damned if you don't situation, there is the argument that the measures taken saved thousands of lives and we can't know how many people would have become infected had nothing been done. The truth is nobody really knows.
