Put two shoulders in at 0600. Got brats soaking in beer and some wings I'll throw on in a couple hours.

Im hacking up part of an apple tree that broke in half last winter for the fuel.  GONNA BE EPIC!!!!!

Maybe it is because I'm getting older but I am finding a nice platter full of perfectly smoked meat runs real close second to sex!  And all the anticipation and preparation (foreplay?) with the meat makes it so exciting!

Just threw about 15 brats on the smoke side.  Cookin 4 more and 4 burgers on the fire side right now.  Trying to keep the heat down!!!  That grease and air wicked it up to 450 quick!  Good way to get through the stall though.

I just want to know why I was invited. I probably wouldn't have been able to make it since he lives so far away, but an invite would have been nice :lol:

It's always an open invitation at my joint gentlemen.  

I'm officially at the point in the smoking phase where missing chunks and slivers start to appear on my meat!  Damn it!  The Bermuda meat triangle!!!!!

He's got a standing invitation from me.  And he knows what I mean too.

I pulled them.  Bones fell right out on the ground.  I had both shredded in about 2 mins.  Never smoked one with applewood all the way through....HOLY MOLY!  It's amazing!  Hell, I ate a pound or so by fingers before I even grabbed a bun!  Sleepy now.  Hammock is calling me over to "chat".

Apple is my favorite wood to use for smoking. Cherry is pretty good, too :bc:

Hey biggie these are choice rib eye steaks my friend. These are $6.00 off the mark or they should be selling them for at lest $11.99 per pound. :bc:
