Agree, it doesn't seem that long ago. Last year he bought a fishing tackle company and was super excited to bring that manufacturing back to the U.S.

He was just on the TV getting Interviewed. Said he was doing OK. RIP Toby.

Yeah....I was surprised to here this. Saw him on some award show fairly recently and even though he was skinny  as a rail, thought he was on the mend and had the cancer beat.

Liked a lot of his music. RIP.

Dude was good and will be missed by a lot of music fans.  I know a couple of my buddies were lucky enough to see him, Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony together down at Cabo Wabo a few years ago.  They both said, as drunk as what Toby was, it was one of the best shows they'd ever seen.

RIP ... f'n cancer sucks

I can’t even identify a Toby Keith song. It does sound like his music meant a lot to many people. Way too young to die. Just goes to show, you just never know when the hammer is gonna fall. Once you hit 60 it becomes a daily game of whack a mole. Live your best life for today. In 100 years nobody will even know who you were.

Never heard that either.  Don't recognize his voice, but considering he chose to add a banjo to that song I am not surprised.

Either way, RIP.

Country just isn’t my thing. Cash, Williams Sr and some Charles Daniels. Otherwise I don’t get it.
