Awesome weekend in Pittsburg NH. Was definitely not expecting it to be that good. Special thanks to the guy who threw me the twirling finger gesture on trail 145 🚨, saved me a stop from the po po.

How are your new Doo's compared to your Poo's?

That's not possible, you don't keep them long enough to build a relationship. If anything you're a sled gigolo, you ride them and then dump them. :lmao:

They’ve been good so far, only around 500 miles. The engines run super clean and the r motion skids ride awesome. Everything else I prefer the Polaris. Unfortunately I didn’t have a very good experience with my two ‘22 Patriot 650’s. Sold one in the fall and kinda just stumbled on the leftover Blizzard at a good price. The wife has been on a Doo since ‘21 and had just under 4000 miles on it and we planned on upgrading hers. She put around a hundred miles on both of the Matryx’s last season (keeping her Doo under 4000 miles) and overall prefers the Ski doo.

My dealer has a 24 XCR 650 129…still a little high on price IMO…what issues did you have with the 650’s?

Both of mine were cold start dirty running plug fouling whores. They were 3 months apart on build dates and both suffered from it. It sucked trying to get 2 of them running at the trail head. I used drag them out of my hybrid trailer instead of backing them out to avoid dropping a plug and dying from smoke. Just fucking embarrassing for Polaris.

I had no problem trying another one, but Polaris was too proud of them a couple months ago. They wanted more for a leftover 4 stroke than I paid for the 850 Blizzard. So far happy with my choice except my youngest son won’t stop harassing about it.

Yeah that sucks and the only deals Polaris has now is on leftover 23’s. Glad you like your Blizzard….it’s really a good package.👊🏻❄️

Quite honestly in this day and age, that's unacceptable and embarrassing. I mean really, how hard is it for these supposedly intelligent engineers to get the fuel/oil management correct?

That is fucked.  Can't say I have any interest in a first year sled from any of the three.

The first year (21’s) had great reviews.

Looks good what area is this Campbellton? Were supposed to start backpack trip in couple days but this weekend killed everything it’s all red/yellow now and shit from post I’ve seen. Thinking of taking the truck all the way up now try and salvage a trip.

I'm from Campbellton area. Trip was to grand falls, Riley brook, serpentine, popple depot, island lake.

Trails are pretty much done. Few trucked home yesterday because was not passable from edmundston to Kedgwick via moose valley 🤦

That sucks bad wtf. All along the route we planned too basically. The map even got worse this morning so we ended up canceling the backpack gaspe trip 😞. We booked a room near Sageunay hopefully it stays decent over there so we can salvage this trip. What a fucking shit winter this has been.

I bought a leftover 23 xcr 850. I guess it was a late arrival (Jan 2023). Fucking thing is a rocket. Handles like a dream and just pulls like a freight train. Its pretty much the same sled as my 21 VR1 but acts very different. Fucking love it. Wish I could actually ride it...

Pretty much identical to my sled, with the exception being mine is the VR1.  My brother-in-law ordered it as a snowcheck but it didn't come in until the last week of February last year & by that time he had already replaced it with a Boost.  So I bought it and had Wenzlaff Performance re-work my shocks to be more like an XCR.  I've only got 86 miles on it, but man I'm in love with this thing!!  I guess the good news is, it'll still be new next season.

@Jimmy Snacks - I wish you were a little closer to this neck of the woods.  M&M Lawn and Leisure - they're a HUGE volume dealer here and they have a shit ton of sleds they're trying to wheel and deal right now.  You should look them up and consider a road trip! :bc:

I’m not even remotely in the need of another or newer sled, but if I was, I certainly wouldn’t be buying used this year.  Too many good deals will be out there with dealers trying to unload inventory.

Yeah I was at about 4K this time last year, sitting at ~760… so far!  Honestly can’t remember the last time I had less than 3000 miles for a season.  Been at least 20 years.

A shit ton is putting it lightly. How many Adventure 650's do they have? A couple hundred?

If anybody looked at the bluebook value lately prices really took a hit.  My dealer told me the next time I go riding to come and get one of their demo sleds to get some miles on.  Dealers have to get at least 450 miles on the sleds before they get any breaks on the price.
