Woodticks

No, not that jackass member, that creepy crawly thing.

Out here is Western MN has been really bad.  I've found a dozen crawling around me this weekend.

Anyone else seem to notice a lot more of those blood suckers than normal?

The only time I've been out in "nature has been out in the yard or on field approaches refilling the tractor and planter.

I've pulled more ticks of me this spring then I do most years.

Friggin things creep me out beyond belief.

I'm was finding them in me and never left my gravel driveway. I wish they had a frontline type treatment for humans like they do dogs. I hate the little fuckers....

Whatever happened to that member?

Seems average around here this season, pulled one tick off my neck that had a pretty good bite underway about a week ago..nice big red welt for a couple days but that's the first one I've seen this year.

for those willing to take Ivermectin found in heartworm pills for dogs... strap on a fashionable Saresto collar.  :)

We used those for years with great results, they seem to have lost their effectiveness, we now use nexguard so far so good

Our Blue Heeler had Lyme two years ago and a months worth of antibiotics knocked it out…..I try to avoid the woods during spring and summer and hit the dunes and lake instead. Feel more comfortable when there is a couple feet of snow on the ground.👍🏼🐶

Have found a few this year crawling around on myself and the kids. I burn the fuckers if I find them on us.

I Toss em in the sink and down the drain to the septic tank.

The idea of them having to swim in my shit brings me great pleassure.
