You see his moron post on chat? He's telling people to change the belt by taking apart the secondary. Which leads to the sheave stripping leaving the sled broke down on the trail

With winter weather like this, not to mention other factors such as economy and interest rates, I can't imagine it would be a good financial decision, can you?

Production planning starts out early as they have to get all the parts ordered ahead of time. My dealer is pretty much sold out. My sled is the only Catalyst in the shop, but it is paid for. No snow so no hurry to grab it. Maybe Saturday?

They’d been forecasting an El Nino since January of ‘23 but you bought a new sled anyways. Smart guys would’ve skipped this year. With winter weather like this, not to mention other factors such as economy and interest rates, I can't imagine it would be a good financial decision, can you? Jimwit is the only one in the world who believes AC is going to almost double production for next year.. FWIW original plan for this year was around 6k sleds, over the summer they scraped up the parts to build 1000-1500 more, which is why dealers had the ability to order units for the floor. Its also what makes jimwits moronic claim of catalysts being sold out a lie. Not to mention that lie about yamaha getting 8k sleds, which based on the market share numbers would mean AC built almost 16k, add in the 3500 to 5000 brp units they built, and that moron thinks ac pumped out almost 30,000 sleds last fall. spring sales will depend on the rest of the winter.. If we get good snow late Jan, and they get the parts in time to build 858 demos for dealers, guys will get weather amnesia. If the snow comes later, or not at all they might sell as many as they did this year. Hindsight is 20-20 but plenty of dealers thought the catalyst was too little too late, one of the closest to us planned on shutting his doors back in October. 858 could have and should have been out 3 or 4 years ago, dash 2 years ago if it wasn't for the way textron runs AC Edited December 29, 2023 by krom 1

I think there's plenty of folks willing to pony up for the 858. Cat's production numbers will still be up regardless of what Poo/Doo release. Cat will be able to earn back some of their lost market share, but 5500 additional sleds?? I doubt it. THAT is the big question. Poo and Doo are not going to allow the 858 to be the top dog.
