Lol what is happening?  You still haven't said anything.  I'm on the various catalyst groups and honestly have not seen one belt failure.  Not saying there hasn't been one, but there's no fundamental issue.  Aftermarket will always make the latest and greatest fix products, look at thunder, that's how they stay in business.  Where are all these issues you're the master internet researcher you should have them at the ready?

How many cvt belts have blown compared to drive belts?  10x?  100x?  Better scrap the cvt?  How many procross chain cases blew up last year?  Keep reading bud.

I've already said enough... :news:

For consumers I see the belt drive as a big win. Near zero maintenance and lightweight.

I could see in some racing applications it not being an ideal setup. I wonder if we will see the belt drive abandoned in those racing disciplines in favor of a traditional chaincase? Or perhaps a different belt drive design with a different tension adjustment system?

Looks like they spent way more on marketing, and racing in 1970, than they are today....

5 bucks would be more than they spend now. I see the 600s are making it to dealers already. Must have run out of people that will buy the dirt line

did you go look at the shocks? if they're worth the cost (cheap from my recollection) that might be an affordable worthwhile upgrade for yours without buying RXC units.

saw your text but was eyeballs deep at the moment... 9_9

no. It’s 100 miles and in a crate. I am not that ambitious. I might finally wash all the salt off mine if it is decent this weekend and possibly pull the skid. It needs hyfax and I am sure there are a few bad wheels in it

we're at the cottage this weekend... killin bugs, lighting camp fires, celebrating a milestone birthday and hopefully catching fish.  packing for all probable weather scenarios tonight and leaving early from work tomorrow.

Mosquitoes are out in force today. They haven’t been bad until today. I almost got carried away by a pack of them. I should mow my lawn but that would involve buying a lawn mower

How does the TCL compensate for an angled jackshaft?  The diagram below is obviously extremely exaggerated but it paints the picture in my head of the misalignment.

I've been saying this from the start.  I heard rumblings before of them coming out with a tensioner so you don't have to move the shaft but haven't seen that yet.

I'm guessing the angle change must minor enough to keep the parallelism within the spec

What is "a fact"?  You think if you're stating anything as it's a fact, at minimum you could come out with your factual statement instead of beating around a bush with vagueness and then just saying "it's a fact bro!"

I'm just looking for your statement of fact
