That Cat marketing intern is feverishly creating that list of excuses why they did not bring anything new yet again for that brain dead leader to read off her ipad at the launch announcement - or they just cancel it altogether.

Cue jimbo the Cat superfan to reiterate how nothing new is needed for team green.

Do you have your boost? When do you expect it? June of 2023? I have a 22. Not my year to buy. They have new, but not worried about it. I would worry if I was buying a Poo. Great last year of quality control. Toss in a turbo and spray you make it off your trailer for the 2024 season!

Jimmy is the dream customer for every manufacturer .... take a prior year model (or in his case, a decade old model), throw a new coating of grey primer on it, and stamp 2023 on it and he'll be there to buy & promote it as the absolute best thing on the market.  It's pretty apparent, he doesn't wear a snowmobile helmet when he rides, he's more of a hockey helmet type of guy

Gray? CKX Mission helmet. Cat loyal? Absolutely! Dealer is a mile from me as the crow flies. Not that he has seen any of my sleds that I have bought from him. Bullet proof reliability. Just oil and accessories so far. Will be rebuilding my shocks this spring though.

sounds like they are making lots of excuses for turbo lag, in that review....

I did like how he describes it as a lazy 850 on up until the turbo kicks in, which you cannot even detect or feel at all, except for that he sled is fast.  Yep, turbo lag.....

The return of the fusion 900 because that panned out golden for them.

This is a whole new catastrophe, but they're bringing it to market.

The 8000 is just fine though, more than adequate.

Low rpm overboost does what?  In a 2S, even worse.

Where's @Tommcat?

600 lbs estimated dry weight

no HP claims though..
Thing weighs as much or more than a ZR9000

He said it feels 'more mellow' than a regular 850 up til 50mph.  That doesn't sound impressive.

I think those dumb asses think the snowmobile makers have massive ware houses stocked full of parts and could easily build so call “old models”. But as we know they don’t and are better off going with a new model they can get parts to build.
