Mainecat
Republicans heads will explode...... Get Ready For The RightWing Screaming Fully vaccinated baseball fans will be granted their own section at the Los Angeles Dodgers game this weekend against the San Diego Padres. The set-aside seats, reported by The Los Angeles Times, are part of the many incentives being offered — from doughnuts to beer — to encourage people to get vaccinated against Covid-19. The Miami Heat and the San Francisco Giants have introduced similar sections at their stadiums. BadaBing444
Great, I'm real happy for them! I wouldn't go to any Professional game unless they paid me anyways.
Zambroski
Good. This is fine by me. They can mask up and have a good time together! Can we do this everywhere please? I'd like to see these people have their own little safe places everywhere!

Matt
Good. Should let that section be full capacity. And you shouldn't have to show your vaccine ID card to sit in that section, because that's racist.
Zambroski
This is a really good idea that I hope catches on. I mean, let's take it to the next level: certain days/times and hours can be for the maskers/vaxxies at businesses and events. The mornings on Sun/Tues/Thurs can be for those scared of their own shadows and air to go and do their shit. Afternoons and evenings on opposite days. Yes...this is a good idea! Or it's just crossing the border by air that you can catch or expell covid..You use a $5 ladder come on in covid vax or not??
teamgreen02
I wouldn't go to an MLB game if they paid me full face value of the ticket. It isn't worth watching on TV, so why would I dedicate half a day to it?

Bontz
Why would anyone care about this - especially a Republican? Talk about a complete swing & a miss by one of the site's resident morons. Let 'em have the entire stadium to themselves and include the NBA and NFL while they're at it.

XCR1250
Coronavirus cases aren't budging — even after vaccinations doubled Sam Baker Thu, April 22, 2021, 4:00 AM Data: CSSE Johns Hopkins University; Map: Andrew Witherspoon/Axios The U.S. is pumping out coronavirus vaccines by the millions, but the coronavirus isn’t slowing down. The big picture: This spring has seen a surge in vaccinations but almost no change in the coronavirus’ spread, leaving the U.S. with an outbreak that’s still too big. Get market news worthy of your time with Axios Markets. Subscribe for free. Where it stands: In the last week of February, the U.S. was averaging 65,686 new coronavirus cases per day. Now, eight weeks later, we’re averaging 64,814 new cases per day. And yet, over the same eight-week period, the U.S. has administered more than 65 million vaccine doses — roughly doubling the number of Americans who have gotten at least one shot. Between the lines: You would think that doubling the number of vaccinated Americans would produce at least some decline in coronavirus’ spread. But that hasn’t happened. More contagious variants of COVID-19 — particularly the variant first discovered in the U.K. — have become the dominant strains within the U.S. over the spring. That would normally cause a big jump in new cases, while vaccinations would normally cause a big drop in new cases. The two may simply be canceling each other out, leaving the U.S.’ outbreak frozen at around 65,000 new cases per day. Each week, Axios tracks the change in new infections in each state. We use a seven-day average to minimize the effects of day-to-day discrepancies in states’ reporting.
