I had never been and never really looked into the place just knew where it was.

Its a hopping spot even on a Thursday off season. Tons of restaurants, bars and shops to take your cash. Bring plenty....lol

Fucking ATM’s all charge $4 or more a transaction.

We stayed at Margaritaville. There are some a bit cheaper but it’s right where you want to be. Best sunset and a 2 minute walk puts you right where all the top bars are. Hard Rock, Sloppy Joes, Ricks, Senir Frogs, etc.

Go over and check out the Schooner Wharf bar. Locals bar. My sister in law lives down there. Great town for a few days. I'd be a blithering drunk if I lived there.

Too late. We’re back in Lakeland. This was a “get down there and get back in 36 hours” learning experience kinda deal.

We will go again and stay for a couple days next time. There’s plenty to see and do there.

Things learned:

No bike next time. The ride isn’t that thrilling. Would be just as good in a car. And you can’t buy shit and lug it home on the bike.

We’d shop for a room as $400/night on a Thursday is a bit out of our league normally.

My sister in lawand BF also did a travel CD that basically follows the mile markers and gives the history of the keys. They have one from Miami to KW and one the other way.

Sig ammo is way to expensive.   New pistol, first time using Sig ammo or both?

This Sig ammo was $16 a box at Williams Gun Sight company but it is a newer pistol. Either way I'm going to have her run some Federal or something else, even WWB, through it and see if the issue goes away. This is her going to be her EDC gun so if it keeps happening we're going to have to switch pistols to a Glock, Sig or Ruger etc. She likes the Walther cuz it's completely ambidextrous and she shoots with both right and left hands.

Working on the girlfriends trailer here in Florida.

Needed some small roof repairs and a new coat of sealant.

Good looking job on the roof, Tim, what did you use? I am looking into Rexoseal for our trailer, if I can get it up here, as it is also due for a refresher. I got some stuff from a guy at work thins past summer and it worked great for the middle seam, but no way I am going to use it for the outers as they will stick out like a sore thumb.

Looks like you and Di have a great spot! Congrats and enjoy! :bc:

3m makes a new sealer on a roll for trailer seams. Expensive but the shit stays soft and sticks like gorilla snot.

Sounds like eternabond? It is pricey, around $100 bucks for a 50 foot roll but it does look like it sticks like nothing else? I may go that route for the rest of the seams but I haven't made up my mind yet?  http://www.homehardware.ca/en/rec/index.htm/Paint-Décor/Maintenance/Caulk-Coatings-Seals/Caulking/Tapes/4-x-50-White-Roof-Tape/_/N-2pqfZ67l/Ne-67n/Ntk-All_FR/R-I2037194?Ntt=eternabond

Thanks Dale,

I used Lanco Ultra Siliconizer. It’s an acrylic/silicone blend.

i really didn’t put much thought in to it. Di said “ I want to paint that side part of the roof that looks ugly” and I said “That’s mould growing in a crack”.

And from there it was a trip to the local Home Depot to see what they had. This stuff was $95 for a 5 gallon pail. The range was $65-205.

I scraped the mouldy areas with a wire brush, filled all the cracks with a silicone crack filler and gave the entire roof 2 coats over 2 days. I used about 8 gallons to cover about 1000 sqft.

15 year guarantee, hope to get 5 years out of it.

LOL. I just asked you again in the Ontario thread. Thanks for the info. :bc: Like I mentioned, I just have to make up my mind which route I am going to go?

Beautiful day out there today....

No kidding! All week-end, including Friday has been great here in Southern Ontario.

I got a lot done this week-end, namely work on my wife's car but a bunch of other chores like washing out the eaves, raking up the last of the leafs, oil change, clean up on the lawn mower, the list goes on.

Mother's car had the windows tinted Friday and after that was done, I decided to put a coat of wax on it. Yesterday, being another beauty day out, I decided to wax my truck too.

Some pics of our new Impala all ready for winter. Molded mud flaps, Krown rust proofed, Husky floor liners, winter tires and rims, tint and wax. Quite the different looking car with the snowies and rims, which mother hates, but they're a necessary addition considering the stock tires and wheels that were on there.
