racinfarmer
Picked up another ultrasonic cleaner today. She's a hefty lady. Like 20" x 12" x 10" or something like that and heated for the carb's pleasure. No worky worky, so let the troubleshooting begin.

I guess if I get it up and running and heating, I'll pitch it on Marketplace. If not, the scrap pile.
racinfarmer
Got the ultrasonic up and running. Fuse on the control board was bad. Dug through the electrical stuff in the shop, popped another fuse in there and it fired right up and heated up to 70C no issue.

I have a cheap one and it does a beautiful job on certain kinds of parts. it does a great job on Brass, steel, stainless steel, and anything with scale on it. racinfarmer
Picked up a $5 Comet 102C clutch a couple years back because it had the Yamaha spacer on it. It was sticky, never did anything with it. Stripped the cover and weights off it, hucked it in the Ultrasonic. Damn does that thing move nice now. I figured I was going to be into it for a full spider rebuild.

racinfarmer
Helping my brother and his fiancé put a suspended ceiling in their basement, which meant a Homeless Despot trip and another the usual scumbags. Picked myself up a Ryobi clamp bluetooth speaker. Worth it. 1
teamgreen02
Finally put a tool box together for my garage last year. Tired of hauling stuff back and forth to my shop. Just picked up the Wera stubby and long screwdrivers and Craftsman Overdrive wrenches. The Craftsmen overdrive is similar to the Mac RBRT wrenches that are about $400 on the tool truck. These were $75 and I had a $20 off coupon. Sockets are all DeWalt. Paid like $150 for a set of 6 point sockets. Had this Craftsman box since college!

I get those cheapo hobo freight combo packs and for some reason lose the same one over and over so before you know it you got 10 of each one but the one you constantly lose 😂

It really not worth getting to much smaller really. As far as CNC mills go a converted Bridgeport is best for home use as it is much more flexible than some of the shiny box mills. I think something similar to that would work fine.
