Oh shit! WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Hillary Clinton enjoys an 80% favorable rating among U.S. blacks, while two Democratic challengers who have struggled in public exchanges with black activists, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, suffer from low name recognition and favorability among blacks. https://news.gallup.com/poll/184547/clinton-favorability-strong-among-black-americans.aspx3 points

They should and if not....well that's their own fault. Still tough dealing with the damage and cleanup. Construction will be booming more than it already was. Silver lining when things like this happen. Heard on the local radio farm report at noon the crop insurance basis price was $3.88. Above what corn is expected to be around harvest. Considering most Federal Crop insurance plans were 75-80% they should come out OK.2 points

Funny how the media doesn't barely mentions stuff like this. We are north of that storm area. Our version hit on Saturday. I think the most severe damage is contained within about 1,000 sq miles. We received winds in the 70 mph range and lasted around 1/2 hour. Corn looks the same as the photos. We have about 500 acres that I'm not even sure about getting a harvest. Usually, you can harvest in one direction to try to lift the corn. There is a reason why farm country doesn't give a hoot about the media. All the jibber jabber about the minor losses in the city are nothing compared to a drive in the country. Tally up the riot losses on Lake Street vs. a drive on 212 across Yellow Medicine County, in MN. There is a big disparity in losses and yet which one made the news over and over? And that is the minor stuff in MN. The mess in IA is huge in comparison. Still gets the same coverage.2 points

death rate and hospitalizations are the only metrics that matter in the whole thing. Positive test rates are irrelevant as long as the other 2 remain low.2 points

People act like the post office wasn't failing prior to trump. and that slow delivery all of a sudden became a problem 2 weeks ago Post office is broken, has been for decades. Someone at some point will man up and try to fix it. Reduce delivery days, close duplicate facilities, press harder on doing more package delivery, improve the attitude of workers. that is how they will survive. No one needs daily mail delivery. a properly run package delivery company should spin off a profit large enough to subsidize a 2-3 day a week delivery schedule. Look at UPS and Fedex profit numbers for proof of that. US rt 1 has about 15 miles of road in NH. In that stretch there are 6 post offices on Rt 1 and another 5 within 5-7 miles off Rt 1 serving a year round population of maybe 75k people. Fucking stupid.2 points

Fuck her..... Why isn't she wearing a mask while giving her speeches. She expects everyone else to speak to each other thru a mask. She should do the same. I wear one in a business that requires it. I will not wear one outdoors.2 points

they were publicly competed open tenders. You outright lied and made up a story that AB and ON contracts to them were sole sourced when they were not. That's how pathetic and desperate you are in your attempts to defend the LPC. You will literally fabricate stories out of thin air to try and cover for them.1 point
