Platinum Contributing Member ViperGTS/Z1 Posted May 27 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted May 27 Damn.... that's really jogging the memory. I think I may have still been driving my first car, a 1968 Beetle or might have gotten my 1980 Toyota late in 79. Not sure, I know I was driving it to school when I graduated in 1980 .. but it was exactly like the one in pic except I had extended cab. It was my first brand new vehicle and one of the first Trucks to come out with a lifted appearance and decent ground clearance. I off- roaded that thing all the time. Got stuck in a reservoir once and was late delivering papers on my paper route. My Dad nearly kicked my ass when I came home with the "New" truck loaded with mud and late delivering my papers too. He definitely had a way to make me very responsible which has followed me my whole life. As far as sleds..... I don't even think I was riding then but my first sled was a 1978 Arctic cat El tigre... Like the one in pic.

Carlos Danger
I remember riding a few sleds back in the day and they were humongous pieces of shit. I would say sleds sucked until the mid 90s.
