"Right now, the ups: Refinery maintenance, a more costly summer version of gasoline coming into view, and rising demand all set the stage for gas prices that could rise another $0.20 to $0.50 a gallon between now and, say, Memorial Day," he added. Is that right or financially feasible to those minimum wage earners. Raising it would do next to nothing. 1.02 million US workers earn minimum. indexed for inflation since 1968 the minimum wage would be just north of $14 an hour. fuel prices are a measure in inflation so index the minimum wage to inflation would help people not lose ground to inflation.
