  • So, to summarize: We now will have the new chassis that was never needed with a more ergonomic riding position and a substantial diet that was never needed, the new big bore that was never needed

  • First catalyst came in, fit and finish is very good, (thank god after what the prototypes looked like).

Btw? Who cares? It is not a wildcat. I run my 600 most rides at 35 or less. Stickers don't do much for me outside of mileage logs per work day.

Same speed you drive your sled. Fag

Advice Gym is too stupid to understand.

Say what you want about @Gym Ramstud, but he is obviously more intelligent than jimwit (@ZR6000RR).  At least gym has  the ability to spell, use punctuation, and grammar.  Gym also knows far more about sleds than jimwit could ever hope to, I'd bet that unlike jimwit, he knows the first year ac had engine reverse, and that he wouldn't go on a forum and tell somone their sled has engine reverse, when it never did.  Also gym isn't going all over the internet making up bullshit.

Took the Tracker up to start warming up this currently unnamed beast.

Still 49mph.

Think I'm going to name it Herman the German or Hans or Wolfgang or something like that.

The green and red has grown on me.  Maybe I should paint the Arctic Cats after the Fendt.

You guys are fortunate out there.  Here anybody that has mid-90’s to mid 2000’s era tractors agco related pull their hair out trying to fix problems.  There are agco dealers around, just not many tractors sold here, so the service knowledgeability is non-existent and quite frankly, sucks!

We do have a decent network, but it seems like a lot of the smaller and stand alone dealers are being bought up and closed down with the local Cat dealers taking them over.

One area they struggle is with the high HP tractors.

We had 1 stand alone Challenger dealer who could sell the bendy ones but not the tracked machines.  They are not a Challenger dealer anymore.  I don't think it lasted too long, maybe 6-8 years max?

One MF dealer bought up and think 3 other small AGCO/MF dealers 10-15 years ago.  Only one of them is still going today.  They ended up closing the other 3 as they couldn't make it work for some reason.

They're really pushing the Massey stamp out here now.  I think it's since the merger of two very good Agco dealers in the area last year.  7 locations I think now in total.  Anxious to see how they hold up compared to the deer in a couple years, as far as electronics and engines go.

I heard that after 5 minutes the crowd split up. 55% went over to the Doo area and 40% moved on to the Poo area. At this point Textron brought out their Bugatti and McLaren signs. Resulting in 5% remaining. So much for big crowds

there should have been a big crowd... first interesting things they've brought out in a decade.

Last year's crowd stuck around for the entire presentation.  It took me quite a while to get over to the Catalysts, the crowd was massive.

This year, smaller crowd, but they seemed to stick around, from what I could tell.  I was near the front this year, a couple rows back from Roger S, and never looked back until it was over.

Playing Trivia with the Ski Doo folks didn't look interesting, but there were quite a few people there.  Next year, I'd like to see some of the Polaris presentations - had a great talk with the ATV guys over there this year.

We joined the Crowd briefly just after the announcement, but went and looked at CKX helmets instead while we waited for the crowd to clear out a bit. We walked back over about 45 minutes later and there was still a considerable crowd, but we were able to get to the stage and eventually take our turn sitting on the sleds too.

I did not attend last year though.

They've used the same procross chassis for 12 years ffs.

in name only.. No way the 2012 was or is even close to the 2022..  The other brands do the same shit(updates) they just change the name and market the shit out of the "new" chassis.. The procross had MANY changes > they just weren't marketed or talked about nearly enough like other brands do or have..
