Wife is pulling the wife card out.  Told me you been gone enough with the guys it's time to spend some time with your wife.  So we have a husband and wife ride this week. Yes dear......

Here she is on a loaner sled a few years back when I sold her sled before the end of the year.

rode six out of the last seven days with my brother during his annual birthday trip home, one day at the snowmobile muesems.  all of our riding was in Marathon, Lincoln and Langlade counties.  ;)

I'm f'ng exhausted.  going to ride nothing but the couch today and hope our trail conditions don't deteriorate any further.

The number of sleds we seen on trails today Friday was crazy

we saw more sleds yesterday at our lunch stop than we saw riding Tue/Wed/Thur combined

it's going to be a busy weekend, I fear trails will get destroyed

Pulled the plug yesterday and came home.  Cleaning the sleds and plan on going back up Wednesday weather permitting.  Friend crashed Thursday night by Pelican lake and got busted up pretty bad.  Broken neck, arm, leg and ribs.  Out of surgery yesterday which came out good. They expect him to make a full recovery.  Don't know the full details of the crash.

Oh man that sucks, thoughts and a prayer for your friend.... praying-to-god-smiley-emoticon.gif.d042dcba81ec624ee5e92ea3fd8b62ab.gif

Hopefully he won't be out of work too long and he will be ok  physically & financially. fingers-crossed-emoticon.gif.a5faca63d3bd922d3e2063323a24a24b.gif

Actually just got a message from him.  He works on sleds on the side and I need to finish up a sled for a customer of his.  He was with a mutual friend that is a first responder and did all the right things.  Seeing who he was with I don't see drinking as the cause.

A few pics from yesterday & today. Overall, despite the temps today, it wasn’t terrible. We had a few sections that sucked but it was way better than I expected. The worst of it was a logging section just north of Outing.

We’ve nicknamed him “Rhubarb” this weekend. He’s had a few incidents 🤣

But he’s a good sport about it … we got back to the cabin today & he slid a piece of paper towards me:
