I don’t mean paper. I mean you don’t have to use credit to buy something. Electronic cash is still cash.

Careful. I don’t think we’ve hit bottom yet. May take a few more weeks.

Agreed. ...I jumped in a bit early almost 2 weeks ago. But I started out slow and am averaging down as needed. I still have some dry powder to use if it continues lower.  But that pile is getting smaller.  Don't want to get in over my head but I have confidence It will pay off in the long run.

Agreed.  Just don’t lick your fingers clean after getting gas...you know, like we all used to do before this?

My wife gets on a plane this week, assuming flights aren’t cancelled.  We’re not thinking a thing about it.  How funny/absurd is it that you can still fly commercially....but schools are closed.

Yup...it all adds up.

I wouldn't get on a plane right now for $3000

We're not flying anywhere and no customers are asking.  Support is remote.

We have panels scheduled to ship so we'll see what happens.

I am still shaking my head over the fact that all of these neocons have been saying the opposite while condemning socialism and comparing it to communism and hangings in the park. Then all of these corps reveal that they are irresponsibly leveraged and indebted and the only thing that can save them is socialism. I mean wtf?

oh ffs.....can you just give it a fucking rest?

The pent up need for stuff, services, and travel should be very high following all of this. Hopefully people will still be in a financial position to chase that stuff. It’ll be a great stimulus.

Yup.  What will be hard to quantify is the economic impact of all this.  We won't know for at least a year.

Good point. In the end it makes those who did the right things stronger.

The planes are so empty right now that you are probably more at risk with the hoarders in a grocery/drug store getting their dirty paws all over everything. The last few I was on had 20-30 people on Airbus and Boeing’s. Nobody in site within several rows.

Not verified ...but heard shithole Ohio just shut down

We have basically shut down as of 9p.m. last night. But lots of places will remain open. Food stores, liquor stores, Home centers.    If you are on the road. You must be heading to one of those places. Otherwise have to stay home.

Guess my cruising around with a roadie and listening to Tunes will be put on hold for a while.

That reminds me of the old joke

Dude asks chic if she will blow him for $10,000

Of course I will

Well what about for $15?

Hell no what kind of girl do you think I am

Well we already established that , now we are just negotiating a price.

I was thinking that another approach to this was to spend federal money on keeping those that were compromised either by age or physical condition isolated. It could keep the young and healthy working.  Pay their wages/living expenses to be off work. Not sure if it would work, just a thought. There didn’t seem to be much out of the box thinking on this on either side of the isle.

The wife and I have been all over the state of Maine this week. We went over to Grafton Notch on the western side of the state to see the mountains. We have taken 2 trips north, to drop off things to my parents. Yesterday we took off and went to Harpswell, Bailey Island and Orrs Island. Took a road trip to Mt Desert Island and took in Acadia National Park.

Pay with a card for everything. Anything that comes in the car gets wiped with an anti bacterial/antivirus. Brought our own food.

Enjoy the time if you have it. Staying locked up will drive anyone crazy. If you have the chance to get out and social distance while doing it... do it.
