we're looking at four years of a high end college and ???? in med school this fall so our fun cash isn't going into a new sleigh for 2025... and AK has convinced me it would be a waste of money anyway.

Yeah but I feel like the 600 r-xc was on that neighborhood.  I thought the 858 would add alot more premium to the price tag.

They're all too much but then again there's still lots of idiots lining up to buy new sleds... :ashamed:

what's the difference 600 to 850 in a Poo or Doo... like a grand?   the eight fight eight being lighter than the six is intriguing.

but throttle modulation isn't one of my stronger skills.

Don't know, I don't concern myself with those brands.

858 engine being lighter is great.  They also say they're able to mount it lower than the 600.  I see a lot of FB guys say that it has lower cg than 6 however that's not necessary true because it could be mounted 1" lower, but if it's (hypothetically for argument sake) 4" taller engine, it would still be higher center of gravity.  Or if top end heavier, or if the pipe is bigger/heavier.  This is all splitting hairs I understand this.  In the end it's super cool they got it to mount lower and be a lighter motor overall.  Should be pretty damn interesting how well the sled does with the big motor in it and not lose much handling compared to the 6 although it'll still have the big motor character of conservative riding style

makes me wonder if a new 6 or ? is in the works as well.  ctech 6000 is virtually unchanged since 2014... wait, 800 crank for the new chassis.  maybe the crank is too heavy and that's why people aren't getting top end.  :lmao:

as Krommy pointed out in the bYg b0aR thread... powa valves

Anyone with insight into the quality of the AC5S shocks?

No one who can or will say anything negative, or neutral.

Maybe an inch of toe-in to keep things real interesting.

Between being a lying moron, and riding like old people fuck, he wouldn't even notice this or any of the shock changes. He left them at the factory settings because he doesn't even know know what the rebound "clicker" does.
