What a fucking beauty.👍🏼😎🌞

The Viking 90 makes her world premiere at the 2023 Viking Yachts and Valhalla Boatworks VIP Boat Show early February, followed by the Miami International Boat Show. For the past several months you’ve been following the build, but here are new renderings of our flagship - a Kingston Grey Sky Bridge model.

The cockpit measures 224 square feet, with a 203-gallon transom fishbox/live well and a pair of full-length 103-gallon insulated in-deck fishboxes (with refrigeration available). A single hatch on centerline (with optional electric actuation) provides access to the Seakeeper 35, a watertight design introduced with recent Viking 80 demonstrator boats. The cockpit sole is built with reinforcement for a fighting chair, rocket launcher or table.

The observation mezzanine’s centerline lounge seat (with optional air conditioning in the backrest) has excellent visibility aft and direct access to the cockpit. This seating module also holds tackle cabinets on each side. A series of lower mezzanine insulated boxes provide freezer and refrigeration storage. On centerline, you have an engineroom access gate and lid. Outboard, you’ll find storage and cooler boxes in the lower mezzanine steps.

The upper mezzanine’s port side is home to an L-shaped aft-facing lounge with standard backrest air conditioning and a teak table. On the starboard side, there’s a cooking and refreshment hub (with an additional aft-facing seat) with a grill and icemaker or refrigerator. The bench seat holds a pull-out drawer for storage. The armrests in the upper mezzanine seats will have integrated storage compartments with friction-hinge lids, and an optional fold-down 43-inch HD TV in the aft overhang on centerline. A custom aluminum rail on the mezzanine backrest holds a row of welded-on rod holders.

The enclosed bridge’s aft deck features a two-person seat near centerline (with standard air conditioning in the backrest) and a starboard-side aft control station – with full engine controls, radio box forward of the helm pod and a recessed area for multi-function electronics displays. A sliding door leads to the enclosed bridge salon and its forward control station. The enclosed bridge is also accessible via a staircase inside the salon.

The sky bridge helm and companion chairs are positioned on a raised platform, maximizing visibility. The console is on the starboard side, with a raised electronics pod housing three MFDs. The sky bridge helm pod is flanked by port and starboard radio boxes. Forward of the console, guests can relax in an L-shaped lounge (with storage underneath); a forward fiberglass module holds a sink to port and an undermount drink box to starboard.

I didn’t see it but does it really matter to most here?🤣🤣

I'm not seeing a price tag when I searched it, but the 92 started at 10 million.

There is a brand new 72 foot Viking at our marina.  That 90 footer is over 10 million easy depending on how it’s outfitted. I was out on my buddies 48 foot Viking just this past Sunday.

Most couldn't afford to fuel it for a day out on the water.

Buddies 48 has twin MAN V10 diesels, 1000 hp each, and he burns around 60-80 gph.  That 92’ probably has V16s in it.  Viking is one of the few big boat builders still building stock inventory.  Most other boat companies in the 40+ category are buy to order.  We saw a bunch of huge Vikings on the way up from Florida last year.  10 year ago, another buddy bought a 55 Viking and 5 of us took it up from Naples to CT.  That boat had V12s in it.

werked on a few Vikings ,, those man engines are impressive, last one I werked on ended up having 175 hp per cylinder

The maintenance costs on those MANs are a little nuts though.  The 1000 hr service schedule cost is cray cray.  You oughta know.   My boat has early gen Cat 3126s with mechanical injection, pretty easy on fuel, reliable and low maintenance, most of which I can handle on my own.

Remember OP ocean pacific from the 80s ?

One of my customers was head of sales for them . He did very well also started a few of his own lines like Gotcha etc etc

Long story short the 2 partners who stared OP were big in to marlin fishing .like obsessive  pissed away all there money chasing fish in less than 8 yrs l fucking millions.  Litteray had to go back to a 9 to 5 after UT was all gone lol

A smaller 72' Viking has 2000 gallons of fuel ....  twin 1500 hp or 1800 hp engines .... 10 gallons a mile

That 90' will have at least  3000 gallons of fuel and probably twin 2500  horsepower engines

What a carbon 👣 footprint.
