Zambroski
Worked on my suspension today...funny thing, I needed the fucking tool kit! Those cheapie chinesium spring wrenches would have made adjusting the center spring easier. I thought about asking the seller for my money back and threadtening to talk mean about him on a forum...but I fugured things out...because I'm not a fucking idiot.

Some asshole has run my oil pump cable over top of the jackshaft instead of under the guard where it won't get rubbed through. I've had some of those moments working on my '99 , after seeing what the previous owner(s) have done. It has to be the previous owner. He looked like he didn't have a clue how to wench at all and didn't have much of a tool box in his garage. So I'm guessing some (or all) of the stupid shit I've had to deal with is because of him 2 hours ago, Kev144 said: has benny2many ever had a sled he personally built run or run well? SVT MXZ XRS
'12 TNT shocks installed in '04 SC3 rear skid, for a '99 S chassis. Only thing I had to do to get them to work was remove a bushing in the lower mounting location in the rear shock. Other than that, the shocks are correct length , etc. Should be a big improvement over the non rebuildable shocks that came in it. Rear skid is in Picked up the front shocks from getting serviced a little while ago. Gonna install them and then mark the track and drill it. Depending on what time it is by the time I get all that done , I may get the studs , backers and nuts in and finger tight. Then finish up in the morning. 12 minutes ago, Zambroski said: Edited December 18, 2017 by SVT Renegade XRS

Skidude600
Nice sled Jay. I miss my 99 Formula Z 670. loved the sled but hated the suspension. I never could get it dialed in right and it beat the crap out of me. I ended up finding a SC3 out of an 03 800X, but never did put it in. I probably should get rid of it. Anyway like I said nice sled.

Only thing I have left to do is stud it, put the pipe and can in and fill it with injector oil and gas. I'm possibly going to change the carbides, but nit 100% sure just yet. They look decent, but I'm gonna get the front end up in the air and get a good look at them and make a decision.
