All the "reasonably" priced ones were some weird brand I have never heard of so I didn't trust them. Mcmaster I need a business to order from. I run 6004's that are the cheapest I can get in my vintage racer. I order from McMaster and don't have a business. Create a online account and order away. Just be aware of the shipping option you choose. https://www.amazon.com/6007-2NSE9-Bearing-6007-2NSE-6007-2RS-Bearings/dp/B07YNV36KD/ref=sr_1_17?keywords=6007-2rs&qid=1574821055&sr=8-

Apparently kimpex makes them? Just under $20 cad with free shipping. I am going to make calls tomorrow and see if I can find a decent price local first. Tomas.
I got super lucky. We had some bearings at work that have been on the shelf forever sitting in boxes. Turns out that a couple of them were 6007. On top of that I was short four 6004"s. There was lots of them too. So no hunting for bearings lol

These fuckin bean counters don't get that we replace that crap more frequent than if they would buy us the better quality parts. So what are they really saving? Chinese chain and sprockets are the worst.

Everyone was fucked. This sled is going to be so much better to ride this year. I am really excited lol.
Tomas.
Well I got a couple of miles on my 08 d7 switchback. This year I put new 62g weights (same as what I took out) and a new team lime green spring into the primary. Last year I was struggling to get much above 65 mph even though I was hitting 8050-8100 rpm. When I was out the last couple of days doing some field riding and ditch banging, according to the gauge I wasn't able to get much above 7800 rpm very often. The max rpm on the gauge says 8050 but that is only a peak snap shot. I apparently have a top speed of 69mph but I haven't been really able to wind it out on a huge straight. It feels fast but the gauge tells a different story. Also back around Christmas I let some absolute new people to sledding drive my sled around in a field. They drove it very slow as they were a little scared. When I jumped on it yesterday for the first time since then and my idle rpm was 1500-1650 until I drive it for a bit then it is around 1650-1800. I have never had a sled that idled that low. Is that a bad thing or is the 1500rpm idle a non issue? Also on a silly side note, I really miss the better seating position of an rmk or the IQ raw chassis. My 08 sits lower with the older style seating. I tried to swap an rmk tank and seat on to it but the "hoop" is a different design and the tank won't fit. I tried a rmk seat on my tank and it doesn't fit right. Has anyone heard of a work around to get a better seating position or am I stuck buying another sled? I didn't really want to buy another sled as Polaris limited the 700cfi to a base model rmk for 09 and gone after that. I really don't want an 800 shit box and I don't want a 600 lmao. Tomas.
Well the engine was pulled from the 08 rmk with the fucked piston. I think we found the problem and it wasn't a ring catching the exhaust port
Legend
They had a TSB on that a long time ago.
