Well in the report it clearly states it was brought to then VP Biden's attention, who blew it off as after 40 years in the swamp he believes he is untouchable..The report also states it was brought to Obama's attention and he turned a blind eye..

But a guy that's been in politics for 3.5 years is bringing it out for all to see, it's a good thing

 

I guess we will see who turns a blind eye around here too...
