Ez ryder
spent the money on the max360c . still cheaper than getting 3 in a yr should have it wend or Thursday. just in time for a test run up north . I guess Acura is the only car setting it off and it gives you the frequency so youy know it is a Acura sensor Edited April 2, 2019 by Ez ryder

I pretty much tossed my old passport after all the cars with lane change and distance started setting it off . looking at the escort ix and the uniden R3 what are you guys using and how are they working ? and no I cant just slow down lol Valentine 1 since 1992, I've had it updated several times through the years which eliminates the false signals and responds to new tech. The only time I've had a ticket since 1992 is when I didn't have the unit turned on, I love the directional arrows and knowing of the police are up front or coming up from behind or off to the side, the many 100+ mph speedo pics I have posted here through the years says it all. http://www.valentine1.com/
Zambroski
I find 10 mph over is fast enough....or, I just leave earlier. I’ve been suspect of any of these detectors actual effectiveness anyway. Especially around town.
Doorider
I love my Valentine 1. Saved me many times. Cops on my my street will just you for 47 in a 40.

People merging, jackass that passes only then to pull in front of you and slow down, etc. I know that it turns off if you hit the skinny or fat peddle , but I can anticipate my driving style based on traffic conditions with my feet, not fiddling around with the console. I hear you..I live in a very remote area, nearest Town is 23 miles away, most days when driving to Town I see less than 10 other vehicles so Cruise works good for me..nearest Freeway is about 45 miles. I have used Radar detectors since the mid 1960's, I also have Scanners in several vehicles, started using vehicle scanners when on the Fire Department, interesting chatter at times like when we were helping to search for Jamie Closs and severe weather.

The upgrades are always well worth it, I don't think Mike Valentine has ever changed the picture he uses in Car and Driver or his webpage, he looks the same now as he did 25 years ago http://www.valentine1.com/V1Info/junk_k_fighter/

Doorider
From my experience cops have their radar on about 5% of the time or less. Many you see don't even do traffic violations. So Waze telling you where cops are isn't that helpful Edited April 2, 2019 by Doorider

I have gotten a lot of radar traps on my maps in the last year Edited April 2, 2019 by Ez ryder

I reported a cop a couple weeks ago and got a huge number of thanks from other users. He was busting people in the MN Pass lane without paying the fee. s pump
Waze is awesome, shaves about 45 minutes off my Maine commute. Run it on the truck screen and see where the cops hide and when they are on the move.
odot1
Don't waste money on jammers.. They don't work.. Well, maybe .1% of the time. Valentine One still the best. We have devices to detect detectors.. Not sure about where you are. Waze can help. But we go on Waze all the time and add fake traps. Slows down the traffic without even trying!!
XCR1250
VG2.. Most good detectors have Shadow Technology it works by masking the oscillation frequency of the detector, which hides it from police VG-2.
